OMG that is epic

They've even put the logo in the style of the Banjo Kazooie ones. It's like a giant middle finger to the Rare of today.

Seriously if developers franchises are ruined by the big guys they should start their own studio and do something like this.

Resident Evil is one. Do a game about a group of police officers going into an old ancient Chateau and they come across Vampire like creatures. It would be Resident Evil but vampires instead of zombies. We wouldn't say it's "copying" because we know the situation with Capcom and how they ruined the series.

I'm intrigued! But I wonder how many more similarities to Banjo & Kazooie they can squeeze in before the Microsoft lawyers start perking up?

The characters are really cool, can't wait for the game and thanks to bring a 3D platformer.

Banjo-Kazooie were originally going to be in Yooka-Laylee

Playtonic is a developer made up of a bunch of former RARE devs, and the first title they worked on was the 3D platformer, Yooka-Laylee. Those who followed RARE over the years definitely saw the DNA of Banjo-Kazooie in Yooka-Laylee, but it turns out the original plan was even deeper than that.

Wouldn’t they be exclusive to the Xbox One version just like they were exclusive to the Xbox 360 versions of Sega All Stars Racing

Although since Banjo-Kazooie skins were available in every version of Minecraft, it could’ve been possible for the same to apply for Yookah-Laylee
