In this review, Alexx discusses how despite drawing inspiration from other games in the genre, Telepath Tactics easily stands on its own - "Telepath Tactics is a great way to experience a fresh Tactical RPG experience, while enjoying elements of popular franchises such as Fire Emblem and Disgaea. It stands well on its own despite the occasional flat dialogue, but that should not deter prospective players from enjoying the experience that Telepath Tactics offers."
Joseph writes - Telepath Tactics: Liberated is a remaster of Telepath Tactics, a Fire Emblem-inspired game that was released back in 2015. In Telepath Tactics, you control a large number of unique characters in turn-based combat. One of the game’s sticking points is how Telepath Tactics places a focus on using the environment to your advantage. Shoving enemies into the water, blowing up bridges, and forming chokepoints to name a few.

BNR: A long time ago, a fascinating strategy RPG tumbled across my path; Telepath Tactics, a game with an interesting premise and world. I suppose it wasn’t that long ago- a couple of PAXes feels like ancient ages- indeed, it was much earlier in the game’s development that I got to interview Craig Stern, the man who made Telepath Tactics.
So, what is Telepath Tactics? Simply put, it’s a turn-based strategy RPG in which you control a group of characters; it’s a bit like Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics.
