After coming to the realization that maybe Donkey Kong Country wasn’t as great as I once believed, I was a little apprehensive about how DKC2: Diddy’s Kong Quest, held up. My history with the game is extensive: like its brethren, I’ve owned it on every platform it’s been available for, and I’ve beaten it more times that I care to remember. It was one of the first games I bought a strategy guide for, because I wanted that 102% completion score. I remember the music, in particular, being incredible.
