An objective look at War For The Overworld along with some personal thoughts. "In its current state, it is hard to recommend buying the game. It was simply released way too soon, as there are placeholder assets, noticeable bugs, frequent crashes, poor optimization, and most of the game modes even say they are still being worked on. There is no problem with a game being in an incomplete state, unless it is officially released and treated like a complete game. Dungeon Keeper 2, which this game is based on and was released 16 years ago, came out in a time where constant patches were unheard of, and so it was released in a complete state. The only thing that is actually better about War For The Overworld is that it has a somewhat functional multiplayer system, otherwise, it is highly recommended you play or buy Dungeon Keeper 2 for the first time for the time being."
