Ever since the rumoured "fallout" between Kojima Productions and Konami, the future of Hideo Kojima has become something of a mystery, so it was decided to investigate the options he has, should he actually leave the company who first employed him in 1986 and allowed him to make the Metal Gear series one of the most successful game franchises of all time.
Last week, how much of public figure Hideo Kojima is for both Konami and the Metal Gear series, and the breakdown of the alliance between the legendary developer and the Japanese publisher, was disussed. Now, it's time to look at the options he has at other games publishers in Japan, should he actually leave Konami when his contract ends in December 2015. Bear in mind here that all of this takes into account that he doesn't want to relocate himself or his family outside of Japan.
