Dying Light is going strong. It was a very fun game and I glad to see it's doing well in sales. I enjoyed the game very much and I am looking forward to a sequel.

mikeslemonade3346d ago

VGchartz is lagging. One month old data.

RocketScienceLvlStuf3346d ago

Damn. Nearly 3 to 1 sales for the PS4 compared to the xbone. I feel this will only be growing over the Month of March.

gangsta_red3345d ago

It's good to see the game doing well. It's new IP even though it's based off of Dead Island. Can't wait to see what they do next.

kraenk123346d ago (Edited 3346d ago )

Are you kidding me?! VGChartz is a month behind and you just decided to publish that data?! Again?!

MasterCornholio3346d ago

Well VG charts are behind because they want to be behind. I'm not sure why though.

Trying to get more reliable data when they are a week behind its totally unreliable they are more reliable now they are a month later as they use more reliable sources which unfortunately release later.

rawrock3346d ago

Good for Dying Light, great game. Just finished the campaign and now working on finishing off all the side quests, it deserves to sell well...

ps4 - 231,869
xbox one - 80,071

ouch

Gamer19823345d ago

Cannot see how Microsoft are going to come back from this, this generation. It gone from bad to worse it was originally 2:1 worldwide and now it's 3:1. I personally know people trading in there xbox ones for ps4s as well which cannot be helping. I don't think those exclusives are going to be enough to bridge that gap they are going to need something that people just cannot live without.. A megaton game or innovation to turn things around.

dolphin_supreme3346d ago

Totally forgot vgchartz existed lol. What happened to them? They went MIA for like a month and 2 weeks. They're usually only two weeks behind.

MasterCornholio3346d ago

All I'll say its because they are worried about posting the numbers for some reason. A theory I came up with when a mod refused to update the numbers because he didn't trust the company who announced them.

dolphin_supreme3345d ago (Edited 3345d ago )

Afraid to post numbers... Interesting. I always viewed vgchartz as approximate numbers so may not be great for exact numbers but certainly details a trend. I wonder if companies are actually taking these numbers seriously btw thanks for the reply

i think the only real loss is GTAV

OtterX4d ago

I think everyone and their sister owns the game by now. They likely want to squeeze the rest of the holdouts before GTAVI releases.

Profchaos4d ago

That game comes and goes from subscriptions so frequently I think it's expected now. Like rdr2 on gamepass Rockstar Games only last a max of 3 months On a service

MrBaskerville4d ago

Talos Principle is the real loss.

BanginTunes4d ago

Facts that game is good as fuck I'm playing through 2 now, very underrated

Huey_My_D_Long4d ago

indivisible was pretty neat. Cute artstyle, fun throwback to older RPGs, shame its leaving but it is on sale often

shinoff21834d ago

Definitely. I e joyed what I played of it. Still gotta grab the physical at some point

Petebloodyonion4d ago

I'm not surprised by GTA V removal, Rockstar never allows this game to stay long on a subscription service.
They usually allow 4 to 6 months.

lodossrage4d ago

Yeah, they do that routinely with both GTA and Red Dead.

But it's because they know they can still sell them so they take them off and on to these sub services in cycle.

The weird thing to me is why is anyone still buying those games at this point? You would think after 3 generations of being sold GTA 5 that everyone and their momma would have it by now

RNTody4d ago

I fail to see how the loss of an almost 11 year old game that released across 3 generations is in any way a problem.
