Xaviant, the studio that developed Lichdom: Battlemage, is closing it's doors after 8 years.
"Amazon has added new game deals for August 25th. Deals are Grand Kingdom $33, Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel $20, Lichdom: Battlemage $13 and lots more!"
"Amazon is currently offering up to 72% off on PS4 and Xbox One titles. Games include Bloodborne, Watch Dogs, Lichdom: Battlemage and Ghostbusters."

wow, that's sad to see but I can't say I really heard much or knew much about Lichdom, I remember seeing it at PAX a while back but nothing of it since. Either way, good luck to those developers, I'm sure they'll find more work soon.
They really banked on Lichdom blowing up and carrying the studio forward, but it just didn't sell enough to keep everything up and running. That's the danger with a self-funded studio. At least the guys have good experience with development, and I'm sure they will find new jobs.
:/ Oh well, at least I had fun with it. Best of luck to you all at Xaviant.
