Naughty Dog Tweets New Image of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Action Stage Scene

One of the developers recently tweeted from within the sound stage where it looks like they're capturing some monkey-bar action, as you can see in the image below one of the actors is harnessed up, ready to swing like the king of the jungle.

It would've been really awesome if instead of that guy they'd bring in a real monkey and dress it in a mocap suit

aCasualGamer3339d ago

Yeah because psychologically traumatizing animals is great for their reputation! Good on you!

Company name change 2 Naughty Monkey

jb2273339d ago

Yeah because letting a monkey swing on a set of bars is psychologically traumatizing & not totally naturally for the lil fella. All the monkeys I talk to think swinging from shit is dope....they'd do it for free, at least Naughty Dog would pay them in mad bananas.

@jb227 and @JP1369

Capturing wild animals for the amusement of humans is in my opinion morally wrong and after many studies has shown that animals go through alot of psychological trauma in captivity i couldn't think of Naughtydog doing that.

"Nofunallowed" capturing wild animals and making them do what you want them to do for your amusement is your definition of fun?

It's not the swinging that is traumatizing it's what follows afterwards. Going to a secluded place where the trainers keep them in enclosed areas for "their" safety. Why do some people feel they have the right to "take care" of wild animals and in that train of thought going all the way to the jungles of the world and capturing(sorry "saving") them because these people think it'll be "educational" for humankind to get to know these animals and why they should be protected. So why again can you not teach basic moral and ethical thought to humankind without the capturing of these wild animals?

I mean for christ sake there is no argument you could concoct inorder for me to throw away my morals when it comes to animals in the wild. The disagrees i get for having basic ethical laws that drives me as a person to have a more humane outlook on us and the world we live in.

You want to see lions, zebras and monkeys swing across trees? Go to Africa and see for yourself.

Kudos to Naughtydog for standing for some basic morals and not having trainers come with their monkeys to capture the movement.

didn't we have many zipwire moments in uncharted2? i remember it being a pain in the ass to get latched onto it. or i could be getting mixed up with tr

nveenio3339d ago

Uncharted was just push triangle when prompted. It wasn't difficult at all.

hkgamer3339d ago

i just vaguely remember on a rooftop and i was running around and no prompt came up. tried to jump near it to see if prompted but didnt happen. died a few tiems because of that. It could have been the first game.

It's not hard at all but you have to stand at the perfect spot sometimes and if its near a ledge its easy to mess up at times.

or ic oould have got mixed up with TR. its been a while

Hazmat133339d ago

you might be thinking about Uncharted 3 where you chase down a dude and you use hangers to zipline. but the location for it was picky also you were getting shot at. haha

Solid_Penguin-643339d ago

You can't delay the game and then give a teaser shortly after.

It's cruelty!

The best games of their generation too. Its incredible how great most if not all of playstations games are. Whether you like the stories or not you cant deny the quality of each title.

Hated tlou part 2. But im going to buy it when it is cheap enough because i want to play the remastered content for $10 extra dollars. Theyre adding a roguelike mode...thats going to be fun!
