A massive Street Fighter V leak has appeared today online possibly revealing the full game roster, gameplay mechanics, new characters details, beta info and more.

The game still has a long way to go until finished, yet theyre already considering cut content for DLC, which could just as easily be put into the game.

Other fan-favourites like Sakura, Blanka, Sagat and Ibuki, among many others, are missing as well. No doubt they'll end up as DLC also.

Basically, you'll be buying an incomplete game, because there will be many characters added later on, which honestly should already have been included in the retail-release.

Don't forget how SFIII completely changed the roster and had a whole new cast of characters.

And having each character change their fighting style, if true means I can see Ryu having a Ken style of play.

Remember Marvel vs Capcom part 1? Ryu could transform his fighting style to Ken and Akuma (if I remember right).

But besides the point I am taking this list with a grain of salt because it is so unimpressive at the moment. My only mains that made the cut are Bison and Elena. I am glad Urien made it back since I always liked that character.

I understand your frustration, but it sounds like you're complaining about Capcom doing the same thing everyone else does with their games at this point.

I don't see a problem with the game releasing with a set amount of characters and them adding additions to the game overtime via a season pass.

It's something I actually prefer over Super/Ultra versions that dissect the community and separate players who don't want to upgrade to another iteration.

This rooster is terrible! If that's really final, I'll stick with MKX for now and wait for the first of the many complete editions that will pop up in the future. Too many omissions in this (ken, sagat, sakura, cammy, juri, blanka, yun&yang, guile...)

Looks like a lot of characters from III are making an appearance which tells me this is a true sequel and continuing the story of SF.

With the info I expressed above and Nash's look I would assume that it's Gill or Urien that resurrected Nash. Unless Bison through this Kuan guy acquired that power.

No Ken, No Sagat, No Blanka, No Vega, No Balrog, No Guile, No Dee Jay, Zangief, Feilong, Cammy, or characters people have been waiting for, for a while, like Oro. There is a difference between negativity and disappointment. Not having Ken in the roster, even speculative, is wrong no matter how you look at it. This roster looks pathetic and makes it seem like Capcom are willingly keeping the characters people actually want back. Who wants Elena? Why put new characters in before Ken? Why the hell is Akuma DLC?

I could easily say that SF fans are easily impressed because a lot of them have the mentality that you have, that we should be excited for all SF news, but I'm sorry things just don't work that way.

People have the right to be disappointed by this, and the fact that Capcom is already trying to DLC milk. People want Capcom to change their greedy ways, but they don't seem willing.

About the roster, they don't look pathetic to me at all may not be perfect but very good.

I agree that Ken should be in but what I don't agree that every SFII cast(SFII characters like Blanka, Dhalsim etc) all should be in like the same happened with SFIV(And its iterations) and SF Alpha 3 because I am done with this nostalgia.

There are characters that didn't get a spotlight in SFIV like Charlie, Alex, Urien, Q, Mika, Karin etc.

So tell me other than Ken what is so pathetic about the roster?

A lot of people just assume everything is real (doesn't help that a lot of rumors turn out to be accurate) and there is still a lot of hate towards Capcom lingering from last generation. It also doesn't help that such news seems logical to them, so it in turn becomes more believable.

If you expect something and you're told something that matches your expectations, then you're bound to believe that over something that is true, but defies your expectations.

If this list is correct then Ken will probably be included in one of the DLC packs increasing the chances of players buying the pack. Expect another fan favorite like Guile top be in another pack.

This list is faker than Criss Angels magic. It was obvious the moment they said poison and Hugo. They are minor Street Fighter characters. And capcom decides give two slots to them when every new engine fighting game starts with a small roster? I can't even entertain that idea. On top of that everyone has three fighting styles like mortal kombat? This looks like a random guys wish list. Of course Alex will be in. He is the second most wanted character after Charlie. And Elena? In a starting roster? She is so low in the story and request list that she came in the FINAL character update for SFIV. Now she is a major player for SFV? Nash was his real name in Japan, but in the US they decided to name him Charlie. Since SF4 and thanks to the Udon comics, they decided to combine the names by calling him Charlie Nash (nash now being his last name)

I personally don't see much use in getting rid of some of the newer additions like Juri so early.

They might have season passes, but I'm still inclined to believe they'll be making new versions. That way, it can be multiplatform and, as Capcom loves to say, "you need a new version to implement all of the new inevitable balance patches".
