5 Game Franchises that Must Use the Wii MotionPlus!

Lucas Writes:

If you haven't heard yet, Nintendo has just announced a new add-on for the Wii. Called the Wii MotionPlus, and don't just shrug this one off because this is the add-on which will literally change the way we play games. The new peripheral, according to Nintendo, will allow 1:1 like movements on screen. Allowing us all to play that star wars game, or golf like game we've been dreaming of since, well… forever! With this being said, we could think of hundreds of different game franchises that could use this controller, and use it well. But lets narrow it down to the top 5 game franchises that we would like for them to use this brilliant new add-on to the already wonderful Wii-mote.

I really hope this helps out sports games the most.....a new tiger woods with 1:1 would be awesome. Not to mention the others he said..Although no more heroes will not have a sequel.IMO.

I'm really excited about this thing.

It changes up the Wii so much (and could squash so many gimmick complaints) that it almost seems like Nintendo is cheating.

While I think it's a wonderful peripheral and I'm more than ecstatic to see it coming to the Wii, I don't think it's "ingenious" (you can't call improved accuracy an idea of ingenuity). I just think it's "something the Wii should have had all along." Which is why I'm happy it's coming. Finally.

I Think it should have been there before too, however its better late then never.

A Matter Of Trust: What The Game Industry Should Do To Win Gamers Back

Skewed and Reviewed have written an Opinion Piece covering issues in the gaming industry, how current issues were issues years ago, and what can be done to help restore consumer trust.

Nothing. It's up to the gamers to stop consuming content from companies that they don't agree with.

Garethvk1d 11h ago

How do you know if you agree with it or not unless you play it? Which without conventions forces gamers to rely on trailers. Perhaps Demos should be made more frequently. But companies need to do better as well.

anast1d 11h ago

Wait until release. Watch Gameplay. Exercise patience.

Garethvk1d 10h ago

But is that not what they have now? Tons of gameplay or are you talking about watching actual gamers play it versus the trailers and streams? The big issue is that some companies pay streamers and influencers and they create content but for me; that is hardly a fair, unbiased, and factual look at a game.

Get rid of the suits in the industry and job done!!

Garethvk1d 11h ago

They usually are attached to the money sadly. It would be nice to have gamers in charge but you have so much money invested that business people are needed. Hence the issue; you need people who know business but are also gamers who know have an eye to the community. It sounds simple in theory that if you give gamers quality games that they want to play; money will be made. But that is not always so.
