Nintendo of America5790d ago

We at Nintendo only have one thing to say.
The Conduit FTW...... maybe.

I read it in like 1 minute because they were like one sentence questions and answers, still very good though, good questions, direct answers, I like these guy's interviews because they don't have some publisher breathing down their neck telling them what they can say and what they can't, here's hoping you make a good game that sells well HVS. Cheers!

I like how these guys are just free to express anything about development. If they get asked a question they can't answer, its seriously because it's something still up in the air. Not "I cannot comment on rumors and speculation"

MaalDeJah5790d ago

Yeah I agree with you. But I think that they could have better better questions asked.

How can you make anything off of Nintendo's inadequate system. No voice support, no game invites, and 16 digit friend codes. I don't see that taking off unless Nintendo gives High Voltage some kind of amazing access to their infrastructure to make it happen.

iamtehpwn5790d ago

Then you'd know:

1) Conduit developers are actively looking into a solution for voice chat. Wii has bluetooth capabilities, so a bluetooth headset support could be easily done.

2) Conduit Developers are planning to avoid using the friendcodes system. Also, Friendscodes for games are notably 12 digits, not 16.

ChickeyCantor5790d ago

Because Nintendo does not want it, does not mean it wont support it.
The Developers Can make their own system, just like majesco did.

iamtehpwn5790d ago

That even though Friendscodes is their encouraged system, developers are free to implement any system they want. However, if it this true, they'll have to have servers separate from Nintendo's.

ChickeyCantor5790d ago

I was refering to Nintendo who does not want any voice chat.
But that does not count for other Developers.

Can't wait for that awesome "jump" feature. lol jk Im pretty impressed with what these devs have done on the wii hardware.

mepsipax5790d ago

jumping? in a shooter, why sir thats more ridiculous than tigers in Africa ma boy, no but jking to, the only few shooter I have in recent memory in which I couldn't jump would be timesplitters? I don't really know. Yeah these devs are amazing, in the 4 latest screens they just finished a few graphical features and the game looks even more purty.

Splatoon 2 Shows Off What Wii Shooters Should Have Been

There’s a consensus about Splatoon 1 that cannot be disputed: motion controls are the way to play. The Wii U Gamepad had its many problems on the system as a whole, but along with the way in which the touch screen was implemented in the first game like I mentioned in my last piece, using the Gamepad’s gyroscope was deemed a superior way to play compared to traditional joystick control.
