Veteran race developer Simbin (Makers of the GTR series) has teamed up with Atari for its next game, the "ultra realistic" and rubbish-named Race Pro - and its exclusive to Xbox 360.
It’s no secret that the Xbox 360’s lifespan is coming to an end, meaning we’ve got an extensive library of games to sort through and possibly trade-in to GameStop or EBGames. Because of this, used Xbox 360 games are incredibly cheap, and a lot of people might be spending this summer adding those last few games to their collections.
Time to round up the best racing titles in a Top 10 run down.
Console Monster writes: "If you thought the last few Xbox Live Marketplace updates have been lacking in content, today's certainly doesn't, with an array of new content releasing. The highlight of today's new content is the Race Pro downloadable content, which comes in the form of two new packs containing new cars and tracks. There's also some new Guitar Hero: World Tour tracks, Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires content and a range of themes and picture packs. Here is the full Marketplace update for Thursday 30th July 2009:

The long awaited downloadable content for RACE Pro is finally here and available for download. There are a number of new cars added to the game, as well as the Mid Ohio track (plus variations) and the Spa Francorchamps race way.
Who the hell was waiting? Didn't know people actually still play this game yet alone bought it.
I'm not sure the 360 really needs another racing game, but whatever.
And let me guess this game will beat gt5, itll b just another racin game like Forza, PGR and Grid
If GRID was the arcade version of TOCA, then surely this up-coming Race Pro will be it's sim version counterpart.
I have a copy of GTR2 ( PC ), and have to say SimBin did a good job on that one.
Only question is will MS/XBox 360 support an independent steering wheel supplier for this game? Because at the moment I'ved got a G25 steering wheel which I use for both my GTR2 ( PC ) and GranTurismo 5: Prologue, Formula One ( PS3 ) games...
"I'm not sure the 360 really needs another racing game, but whatever."
I thought both the PS3 and the 360 have around the same amount of Racers; exclusive and multi platform(for this year atleast.
I'm sure number One in the gamerzone would not have said that if this was coming to PS3 sence Race Pro would have been the forth Top Tier Racer to release with in a few months of eachother on PS3.
What #1 in the gamerzone is saying is like saying *Does the 360 really need another RPG* when the lineup is mixed with JRPG's, WRPG's etc different types a fans will like different sub-genres. The Xbox 360 only has 1 SIM, the PS3 supposedly has 2 those are the exclusives the rest are multi platform.
It's been hacked since like 2 days ago.. I've sent them an email telling them about it!
EDIT: I think they are fixing it now.
