Its amazing how Halo 5 is on top. And what is more amazing is Kingdom Hearts 3 became number 9 after it was number 11.

Also 7 PS4 games on top 10. Thats great too.

Halo 5 beta was surprisingly good.
If you honestly think COD is the best shooter then you clearly dont play alot of first person shooters. Battlefield, Titanfall, hell even Destiny has far better gameplay.

@vishmarx: The Elder scrolls is now the strongest RPG brand among most RPG gamers in North America. It is the series that is having the most influence among other RPG developer. You are free to embrace that or be upset, but that is where the industry is.

So you have developers trying to bring that since of freedom and openness to their games, and gamers who obviously want more of it.

I being a fan of the series am bias, but am glad to see developers, not copy, but add more freedom to their games also.

LOL insurgency would make call of duty babies run home crying to their mothers it's a real shooter where you have to use tactics and aim. The guns do real damage and perform like real guns not water pistols like Call of duty.

EVERY game is a niche game. Kinda tired of that being used as an excuse.

The Souls games have garnered a pretty significant fanbase, and word of mouth will have increased the odds of this game selling well. Don't know why people think that because it's not a shooter of some sort, it should be considered "niche" and not considered capable of appealing to the mainstream.

@Spotie - sales of games usually indicate how "mainstream" a game is. The last Souls game sold like 2.5 - 3 million units with an install base of near 80 million (PS3). Using the same ratio to an install base of 20 million would = less than a million in sales.

Now times are different, and people are thirsty for exclusives, but I still can't see this game selling insanely well.

PS4 is 20.2 million sold-through to consumers. VGCharts regularly undertracks PS4 sales. This is a fact.

Driveclub is a great game that only had online issues its first 3 weeks. It has gotten plenty of updates and features since launch.

There is nothing broken about Driveclub, and many games have been delayed this generation not just Driveclub. Your lies and sick blind fanboy hatred do nothing.

The Order is a good game that millions of gamers have enjoyed.

If they play their cards right I can see Halo 5 being the first console exclusive of this generation selling 5 million copies or more. That's a big if. I think either that game or Uncharted will be the first games to do it.

I would be surprised if either did to be honest with you. Uncharted has a better chance only because the PS4 has twice the install base. But never discount Master Chief.

The ps 2 had 7 times the install base the og xbox had yet halo 2 out sold almost every single ps2 exclusive. Im not worried if it happens again. The xb1 also tends to have the higher game attach rate.

Halo 4 managed 1.8 million+ orders the week before launch in the US alone. Halo 3 racked up 8.1 million sold by January 2008 (released in September 2007 2 years after the 360 launched). So that should indicate what Halo 5 should achieve.

I think the 360 sales 2 years post launch were a lot higher than what the Xbox One sales will be at. But it should still help move consoles and sell very well.

That's because Sony didn't renew the trademark for The Last Guardian a few weeks ago, and then it had a change of heart and renewed it. Preorders for TLG were probably cancelled and then reinstated soon after.
