The Mega Man Network hits "reset" on the original Mega Man series and goes back to the beginning, with a look at the very first title in the first part of our series, counting up to the long-awaited release of Mega Man 9.
Mega Man X fans are always trying to nominate the top boss. Greg at Hey Poor Player shares his thoughts on the most iconic Mavericks to grace Capcom's robot-busting series.
"Back in 2008, Capcom revived the original Mega Man franchise with a brand new 8-bit installment which itself received a sequel shortly after. So, let's explore these 2 retro revivals and see which one is worthier of its bolts." - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums
I would’ve preferred if they stuck with the 16/32-bit aesthetics
If Mega Man 9 had to be 8-bit, then Mega Man 10 should’ve been twice that to separate it from its predecessor
"Mega Man X and Zero are a couple of the coolest 2D action game heroes so let's see which of these radical robots comes out on top." - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums
I liked the Zero games better even if Capcom forced changes to be made to it because they insisted the X games would keep going after V. Ended up making the Zero games more of a what if scenario and not canon imo. X going maverick after 100s of years of fighting would of been better than the defective Copy X we got.
Always good to see a different view on the games. The fandom is so diverse that it's hard to see who would our wouldn't agree with each game's importance in the franchise.
