Even though narwhals look like some sort of bastardized version of a dolphin and unicorn, they are actually whales -- hence the name narWHAL. However, the horn that gives most narwhals their distinctive look is mainly associated with males of the species. Sorry, it's a guy thing.
In Starwhal, that tusk is your key to everything. In the game's chaotic and seemingly random moments, paying close attention to your tusk can be your only sign of refuge.

Although it's not a coop game, it is still a nice game that can be played with a partner or even a friend or family member. I played this game with my oldest niece and she quite enjoyed the experience.
I really need to pick that one up, I've heard nothing but positive response about it from the community. I don't know what's taken me so long to get it.

It's underrated.
Some people don't like it because it's cheesy, but that's what makes the game all the better.

In an era where local multiplayer games are harder and harder to find, Starwhal is a great love letter to those of us who used to spend countless hours playing games such as Madden, Mario Kart, GoldenEye or Tekken with our buddies.
Unusual, though? Absolutely. You are after all, controlling narwhals. In space.
