Disaster: Day of Crisis playable at E3?

Once again, Nintendo has managed to shroud themselves in secrecy for this year's E3, leaving us all to guess their plans. The latest issue of NGamer, however, promises that Disaster: Day of Crisis will be at E3. And playable. There has not been too much information on the game as of late, the most of which only reported a delay in the Japanese release date. Since then, no new launch date has been scheduled and Disaster seemed to be heading for the vaults. But, if Nintendo does indeed have Disaster playable, this game - in addition to the the possibilities of Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing, Pikmin 3, and perhaps a new Zelda title - Nintendo will have a great E3 showing.

This game looks like Balls, man! I should have known it was for the wii. WOW! And why does everyone have cookie cutter lead characters nowdays?

They all look the same.

I think it's time to start using past video game stars in new games. For instance, a company could hire Cloud to play in their next game, like a director would do in Hollywood.

Imagine this if you would.

Metal Gear Solid 5 starring Master chief! things like that. Movies do it. How many movies have you seen with Tom Cruise in it? The game industry should be no different. Everything should be put into open source and able to be leased from "said" company.

that way we don't have to suffer from bland characters like the one in Infamous. Keep the storys and names and all that the same just use a preexisting character.

Makes sense to me.

I'm really start to wonder if you just a fan of satire.....
But..../facepalm.

I'm finally at my wits end with you silogon...there's something very VERY wrong with you. Those are some of the worst ideas I've ever heard...and I've heard a lot of wacky ideas. You always show up on the wii section, what's wrong with you?...you don't like nintendo we all get it.Still, you show up consistantly trolling around the message boards. You only have 3 bubbles to your name and 89 people are ignoring you...get a hint ..we HATE YOU!

Silogon5779d ago

I'm talking 4 realz, man.

Think about it. Think about all the lame characters we've had in our video games.

Regina from Dino Crisis, Lara Croft, Haven guy, Infamous guy, Master Chief, Raiden, Johnny Cage, The cast from DOA, The cast from Virtua fighter, Leon Kennedy, Clair Redfield, The moron from Gears of War.

These and many others could be replaced with exact replicas of our favorite characters in videogames and dressed up and name swapped out to fit the game.

Imagine playing Tomb Raider with a good character. One who controls well like Nina from Tekken.

Imagine playing Gears of War without the cookie cutter lead guy and instead we have Drake from Uncharted play his role.

Things like that. Give characters true identity and roles in other games. Mario use to cameo in several games. I'd love to see this come to pass myself.

you wrote a quite lomg comment about a idea that sounded awesome... no wait that was totaly retarded like...like dogshit but then again no i would have alot more fun starring at a dogshit than reading your freakin dogshit diarrhea comment....

damn you made me wast a couple of minutes of my life...

Silogon5779d ago (Edited 5779d ago )

People without Avatars who make typical run of the mill comments are usually without base or personality. You are a jack of both but master of neither.

You fall into a defined line of "who?" into any conversation.

Edit to below:

Might not like me but a personality I have. A profound one here too. I came here not even 1 month ago I believe and I am already more well know than Gayblow or power of green or anyone here for that matter. Maybe for the wrong reasons but I am split 100% truthful down the middle.

ChickeyCantor5779d ago

Silogon,
Don't talk about personalities, yours is one of the worst around.
But then again, as long you think you are special nothing can stop you( And special you are indeed =D)

ChickeyCantor5779d ago

your problem is clearly that you actually think :"My opinion = fact".

But i'm starting to believe you have a second account where you are totally the opposite.

You and Satire/poe? 50% chance

this game (from the like 3 seconds of footage I saw) looks a bit like Winback: Covert Operations? for the 64, anybody remember that game, it was pretty amazing for its time, full cover system, sharp graphics, good sound, awesome boss fights, extremely challenging but not frustrating, yep this game better be M or else I don't think it could reach what I wanted in my head, sigh, but since it's first party Ninty I doubt it seeing as their only M game was Conker's Bad Fur Day, this game will be okay, but it better not be an arcade shooter, I want to actually have to take cover and not have a billion health, also, make surviving the events really cool Ninty, don't just make it completely linear with no options except the ones the developers force feed to you.
