VCPost: "With the growing whining of game addicts, Dragon Age: Inquisition's developer Bioware has announced Patch 5 will include several structures that will enhance gameplay experience for the role-player video game.
Patch 5 will only be available for PC players only due to unspecified patch infrastructure issues."
Whether it is just the beta for Patch 5 or the patch itself upon release that is exclusive to PC remains unsaid.
Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.
Amazon announced a partnership with Electronic Arts to deliver even more free games and in-game content to Prime Gaming subscribers.
Amazon announced the Prime Gaming gifts for the month of November: Control Ultimate Edition, Dragon Age Inquisition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and more.
The quality of these free games has been awesome. Before anyone says they are not free I was already giving Amazon $6 a month for prime shipping and video this isn't why I pay for my subscription
How does Prime Gaming work? Do you keep the games, or is it only as long as you have Prime?
lol Nice distraction from how they're now charging people to increase viewership. It's "just an option." /wink lol
So the PS4 isn't getting this update? WTF??
Strange the patch isn't coming to console, their reason seems so vague as if this version cannot be patched. Maybe they are saving this stuff for the GOTY edition on console or some type of DLC.
Article starts with "With the growing whining of game addicts" then begins to list features in the game which should be considered standard.
What kind of RPG with a loot system doesn't allow for storage? Hell, even Kingdoms of Amalur had a storage system and the two games are remarkably similar (Amalur has way better combat), so what's the excuse for the lack of it in Inquisition?
Same with being able to change your character's appearance. The Character Creation in this game is not that great, especially due to how you first make your character's appearance in the game in that area with the bad lighting and everything. You quickly find out that what you think your character looks like after the creation is not really the same as when you were creating the character.
Also, this game's RNG bites, so being able to buy powerful schematics can be much better than hoping they'll drop. I played as a mage and wasn't able to get the top 2 mage staff schematics due to having no luck with the RNG.
That said, this game really seemed ridiculously rushed so I don't know if I'll really make use of these features if they ever come to console because I've beaten the game and have little reason to continue playing.
Bioware Blog says the BETA is only open for the PC and even at that, its only for select testers. The post in question states that "due to the nature of our patch infrastructure, the beta program is currently open to selected PC users only. Unfortunately we don’t have any information on this or other upcoming patches to our broader PC player community or other platforms at this time."

Dragon Age: Inquisition was my GOTY last year and it's only getting better from here on out.
