Pixel Gate UK looks at Hand of Fate:
''A mish-mash of games and concepts, Hand of Fate is truly intriguing. A combination of card game, Dungeons & Dragons and action RPG, Hand of Fate is a ambitious attempt to create something new. The ambition on display by developer Defiant Development is worthy of applause, the problem is, Hand of Fate is a mixed bag of success and failure''
Richard writes: "Hand of Fate is still a wonderful reinvention of the collectable card game genre, seamlessly mixing action-RPG dungeon crawling with addictive deck building mechanics to create a truly unique experience."
Defiant Development, the Aussie team behind the phenomenal Hand of Fate series, has announced that their studio will cease production and close down
Neil writes: "What's that you say? You're looking for a new game but are super tight on cash? How about you check out the latest bargains available via the Xbox Live Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for 27th March - 2nd April 2018? There's a number of new Xbox One and Xbox 360 discounts to be had - particularly because the Spring Sale is now in effect too. "
Yeah, I watch a person play it from the start and it had him fight eight dusk. Its a cool idea, but bs when your out number and out level by things.
I watched CynicalBrit's review of it & the game looks pretty good for anyone who played the old "choose your path" games, he mentions the combat not really fitting in with the style of the game with it being like a cheap arkham style, but everything else is top notch with a lot of replay value.
