third person? ha! dont expect it to come any where near golden eye!

@ alien- it might be good. i liked "from russia with love", that game was pretty nice and it was third person. im just saying i though it was going to be a fps cause they said it might be better than golden eye, but the only way they can make a better bond game than golden eye, they need to remake golden eye with better graphics and more action. that would be sick.

It's hybrid 1st/3rd person which seems pretty interesting. The fact that it's built on the COD 4 engine is pretty promising.

It doesn't look too great, but good enough. All in all, i'll keep an eye on it, but I doubt it'll be a great game.

I'm way more excited for the movie though, can't wait to see it.

Will keep and eye on this one

If this game doesn't have online (multiplayer)... I'm telling you, IT WILL DIE IN A WEEK.

yesah5790d ago

did you even watch the video? he said multiplayer will be a big part of the game.

OOG5790d ago

If they do a good job on the multiplayer this game could be great.....with the cod 4 engine it could look nice....but they need to really get smooth controls and good multiplayer for online......if so it oculd be like CoD but in the Bond world with fights in buildings etc instead of in fields and streets

Looks like it's running at 30-50fps even though it's on the COD4 engine which runs at a consistent 60.

Where Have All the Bond Games Gone?

Everyone’s been thinking about James Bond lately, with the franchise’s latest cinematic release tantalisingly close yet pushed back by the pandemic. It serves as a reminder of the wider obstacles faced by this particular franchise—one that can be nimble, competitive, and invigorating—but yet is a behemoth always struggling against the weight of its reputation in a changing creative landscape. The video games inspired by these films are a particular testament to those difficulties, considering their trajectory: an early enormous success in GoldenEye, through weakly received adaptations and original stories, to a near-decade of non-existence.

I paid a few quid for a copy and I enjoyed it.

You should try Blood Stone if you haven't already. It's going for the same price as Quantum but I reckon it's a better game all round.

I actually enjoyed the game. The scenery was really good and varied. It wasnt the best shooter ever, but it was certainly worth playing if you like the bond franchise at all. Bloodstone was good to, just different.
