Outside Xbox: Endings are hard. But lucky for you, videogames, some clever people already figured the optimum way to end a game that delights and rewards the player for hours of sticking with all the punching, shooting and snowboarding: it's the unexpected, out of genre, choreographed dance finale. Witness these seven magnificent dance endings we never saw coming.
The PS2 still took plenty of inspiration from the arcade, leading to a lot of frustration over ottsels, stunts, and, uh, hands of God.
Out of the games on that list, I've beaten:
Maximo
God of War II (but on PS3)
Jak II
Stuntman
Take it down the memory lane with this ultimate list of the best PlayStation 2 games of all time. Just the best of the best right here.
It's so disappointing that to this day, I have not seen a game match what BLACK offers in an FPS.
The greatest console of all time !!!!
The last console from when gaming was pure, games didn't take 5 years to release, no online only, no half finished games, no mtx.
Ps2 was just banger after banger after banger.
It will always be my favourite.
The creator of the Bayonetta franchise Hideki Kamiya appeared in an interview and discussed the plans for the future of the series.
Dance Finales shouldn't be in all games lol. Imagine playing the Last of Us or Bishock and having your characters dance after beating a level or completing an objective.
I love Bayonetta 2, but I still can't forgive Platinum for not making a dance video in the end.
If it fits the entire plot especially like Bayonetta's campy theme or Lollipop Chainsaw's hack-and-slash b-movie style sex comedy why not?, but if this was done in games like The Last of Us, it will definitely cheapen and devaluate the message the game was striving for.
No Zhang He ending from Dynasty Warriors 5 mentioned?
"Now everyone, show your joy, not with your blade... BUT WITH A DANCE!".
