That would actually be pretty awesome. Dante and Bayonetta kicking @ss together would be epic.

ZombieKiller3388d ago

I think I stopped breathing for a second.

Dhampir3387d ago

Only if Capcom sells DMC to platinum. Kamiya seems to like doing new games though.

deadfrag3388d ago (Edited 3388d ago )

Only if its made by Kamiya! But thats not going to happen.

N4g_null3387d ago

Exactly didn't capcom kill the old devil may cry? I would rather capcom make a new ip or revive devil may cry.

NightStalker333387d ago

They never "killed" anything, they made a reboot with a new style, and people claimed it was supposed to take over.

N4g_null3387d ago

I remember people hating it and I was one of those people. Capcom got rid of all of their talent it seems. we got a bunch of freeloaders now it would seem.

OmegaShen3388d ago

Dante would hit on her, now if it was DMC Dante.... Yeah that would kill any chance of the game being good.

Opinions Lmaoo

DMC Dante > Classic Dante

(And yes I grew up with the original Devil May Cry's, I'm not some 13 year old who's first Devil May Cry was DMC)

Deadpool6163388d ago (Edited 3388d ago )

You Choose- [C. "^%&* You!" - DmC Dante]

You like....that Dante? Are you sure? Is that your final answer? Alright. The answer is...

[A. "Jackpot!" - Original Dante]

Oh, I'm so sorry. Letter A was clearly the winning answer. Better luck next time.

Why am I even hosting this show? Capcom doesn't even want to be awesome again. Where's my Agent? I can't do this show anymore! IT SUCKS! Get me Jerry on the phone right now! Not Terry! JERRY! Get me a phone Diana! These people are driving me nuts! When are we off commercial?!

WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE NEVER WENT TO COMMERCIAL?! D:<

["WHO WANTS CAPCOM TO BE AWESOME AGAIN?" HAS BEEN CANCELLED]

LexHazard793388d ago

Yeah im not some 13yr old either.

Old Dante is way better than new Dante and his tightass pants and wackass haircut.

Concertoine3388d ago

@Bakpain

And his ass-ass dialogue

RollingSquare3384d ago

You mean DmC Dante. People refer to the classic games as DMC (without the underscore 'm').

Anyway, as long as it's the old Dante with some classic anime-horror style like in DMC1 or DMC3, I'm happy. DmC Dante just isn't very likable, pretty boring too. Just like the rest of DmC: Devil May Cry, really. That, and the game was just too easy, too restrictive, and juvenile as hell.

But I'm starting to rant again.

Summons753388d ago

That would be a dream come true. Just let Platnium head all of it because we want to original Dante not that emo crap Ninja Theory tried to pass off as Dante.

Ranking the Devil May Cry Series

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."

First to last for me...3,4,5,1,2.

VersusDMC31d ago

Me leaving it out should be telling of my thoughts on it. Better than 2 as a DMC game.

Still a good game though.

Exvalos30d ago

What a weird name, it's essentially devil may cry, devil may cry lol

Cacabunga30d ago

Best to good for me: 3, reboot, 1, 5

2 and 4 are trash, didnt like any of them.
5 has very good gameplay variety but i hated the foes.. it is just insects the whole time. Reboot has the best foes for me

Friendlygamer31d ago

3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them

monkey60231d ago (Edited 31d ago )

2.
Dmc.
4.
5.
1.
3.

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best

Yui_Suzumiya31d ago

1 and DmC. The rest are unimportant.

DarXyde31d ago

Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...

5, 3, 1, 4, 2.

I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.

But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me

SeTTriP31d ago

This right here is my order as I thought DMC 5 was amazing and obviously 3 comes after 4 was great and 1 for the nastilgic value it holds 2 was so terrible that my local GameStop gave full refunds to people who returned it.
