VRFocus - With the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) yet to date or even reveal a consumer version, developers working with the device need to take every possible chance to gain some exposure. Now TIGA, a UK-based non-profit trade association representing the videogame industry, is giving one VR developer the chance to showcase its work at a major exhibition set to take place in a few months’ time in Newcastle. Crucially, the competition is free for any VR developer to enter.
Nine virtual reality games and projects have been shortlisted for the annual TIGA Games Industry Awards in 2023.
