IGN - As a young kid in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, I was absolutely obsessed with my NES, and I voraciously consumed any information I could about my beloved console and its ever-growing library of games. There was a seminal moment of my childhood that charted a course for me and my future as a gamer: the first time I was exposed to Enix’s Dragon Quest, or as we knew it in the States back in the day, Dragon Warrior.
The tiny green slasher villain returns in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and is as frightening as ever.
The way it was handled was so dumb. One shots in melee...your teammates are to ostupid to get away from its attack. So you most often end up alone in a certain fight.

Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?
Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.
I love JRPGs, so definitely looking forward to some amazing JRPGs for this generation
No. They need level of complexity, things like party combo attacks and tribal relations with monsters, things game like Persona and largely only Persona has done in the past, but current mainstream game production shows no sign of going in that direction. Its all more J-pop.
Then again, Project Phoenix might have the stuff to begin or refine old trends.
I hope so because I'm tired of WRPGs.
I hope so. I love JRPGs. I think I nearly have every single one released in PAL region for Xbox 360.
I love wrpg's and am not tired of them. But a mix would be nice. I'm super excited for persona 5. Im curious what level 5 is making. Ni No Kuni 2 or dark cloud 3 would be awesome.
