System 3 announce two Wii launch titles

Gottlieb Pinball Classics and Super Fruitfall are the titles that will be available on launch day.

"We're excited to be a launch partner to the trade for Nintendo Wii. We've had great success with Gottlieb Pinball Classics on other formats and have worked extremely hard to ensure that the already excellent gameplay is enhanced by the new features in the Wii. Super Fruitfall is a fantastic concept and will have very broad appeal and is a perfect pick-up title for 'Day One' hardware purchasers." Said Mark Cale, Managing Director of system 3.

Gottlieb Pinball Classics is officially licensed by Gottlieb where the player can use the WiiMote and Nunchuck controllers to shoot balls as normal while tilting the table with the motion-sensing controller and should retail for around £29.99. There are six different camera angles to play from and a multi-player tournament with up-to four players competing with each other. Lots of un-lockable extras including hidden tables ensure that Gottlieb Pinball Classics is the most-accurate pinball game ever!

Super Fruitfall, It's a brain game and a unique puzzle game concept which is ideally suited to the Nintendo Wii casual family-gaming philosophy and the play mechanic is crucially simple-to-play but difficult to master. Players rotate the puzzle board to group-together fruit types in order to eliminate them from game. Sounds simple, eh? These core concepts combine to ensure that Super Fruitfall is the perfect puzzler for Nintendo Wii and brings a brand new element to the puzzle genre. The game is expected to retail around £24.99.

"Super Fruitfall is a fantastic concept and offers a very broad appeal making it the perfect pick-up title for 'Day One' hardware purchasers and is the perfect Christmas stocking filler. We have worked extremely hard to utilise the unique features of the Wii and I'm proud of the great job we've done with Super Fruitfall." Mark Cale also commented.

E3 2009 Preview Gottlieb Pinball Classics at GI.n

From gwoman, "Though this game has been out in the UK for two and a half years, it's finally almost ready for a North American release. Gottlieb has been working very closely with Nintendo for this upcoming version, and I've been told that they won't even let Nintendo demo a pinball table until they are completely satisfied that its look, sound, and functionality are identical to the original. Now that's dedication!"
