I thought Operation Raccoon City was a steaming pile of shit… but on the other hand, I found a special place in my heart to ignore most of the weirdness that made its way into Resident Evil 6*. No matter where that reasoning puts me on the Resident Evil fandom scale, Capcom’s Resident Evil HD re-release has flipped everything on its head. It’s made me realise how awful the franchise has gotten and how badly we need to return to its roots.
