Bought it for ps4 love it so far. Didnt play it on ps3. Wont buy it on PC. It will not look much much better on the PC just sharper due to 4k. Overall PC port of games is bad sometimes and the only diffrent ive noticed is SOME shadows and 4k nothing else.

Yea sorry but as far as pre ordering goes the only thing of those 5 that counts is the bonus cash and the free game. all the rest are going to be there whether you order it now or buy it in a year.

i think it could spoil the singleplayer slightly since you would be able to buy good stuff quicker, but you still have to unlock said things to be able to purchase.
for online tho i think the money is great. i say this cause everything you can buy online that is good is really really expensive. those that will be having their first experience may be in for a shock when they see just how little this bonus cash gets them. remember tho that they want people to spend real money to buy ingame cash and its painfully obvious when yo usee the high prices on most things besides the small junk. good vehicles and such are out of reach unless you either buy ingame cash or you spend a TON of time grinding. im not saying people shouldnt have to earn it im just saying some items are a lil extreme for all but the hardcore players.

i dont think preordering is a plague i think people just do it for the wrong reasons. in the case of GTA 5 i see no issue with it cause we already know its an amzing game since its been on console so long. I for one plan to buy it no matter what so for me the preodrder is good since it offers alil bonus. now if it were a game that we had no idea how good it was going to be and such then i think preorder is bad unless the person has already decided the yare gonna get the game for certain then it makes little difference. in rare cases the bonus items are worth it but its really a case by case basis and the persons personal reasons for wanting the game.

Yes but the tricky thing is we don't know how well the port will work, and the delay is worrying. It could be broken for the first bit albeit unlikely, it is the Max Payne 3 team working on it.

IDK If I was PC guy I would wait for holdiay sale at best, Rockstar kinda gave u guys the middle finger holding back release and dosen't seem to like PC community that much, esp with their own iffy DRM layered on top of steam for all their games.

Would think more of you guys would send Rockstar your own message and let it tank in sales first day to pay them back.

I'm a PC guy. I don't feel like R* is 'giving us a middle finger'. It did piss me off a bit that they announced the delay just days before the previous release date... It was strange, to say the least. But at least we're getting a working game by the looks of it and not just a bad port. I'm not going to pre-order it but if I hear the game is a good port, I'll get the game day-2. If the game is a bad port though... I'll just wait until it's in a sale for those sweet, sweet mods.

And while R* Social Club sucks, at least it's not Uplay.

Wow I've just realized, I was thinking of Ubisoft when I made my comment, lol.

I guess I just dont like Rockstars "mysterious" angle, how they downplay things and withold info(like release info for next gen/PC version). I related it to Ubisofts bad rep in PC gaming. My bad.

I got GTA 5 for PS4 since there wasn't much coming out, but probably wouldn't have been as generous for PC version, IDK non-communication like Rockstar likes to do leaves a bad impression in my view.

Lets wait and see. Last time (gta4) it took them another year after release to make the game playable without bugs after the PC release. Also it just seems wrong to buy a game full price when it's over one and a half years old... I bought a used ps3 last summer very cheap and gta5 was included. So I'm in no hurry :p

Hence why certain fantastic Rockstar games never went to PC, I hope they all purchase a copy this time round as I don't think I can handle complaints of the next one not going to PC Due to everyone just downloading it for free again and wondering why Rockstar aren't overly bothered with releasing their products for you.

The only Rockstar game not to come to PC is Red Dead Redemption.

That game seemed to have it's own problems and it sounded like it was lucky to even be released at all.

I can live without one game not coming to PC as I've already played it on PS3.

Pc gamers shouldn't feel surprised its a year late port.

Console gamers are lucky to get such a great game coming from a PC developer. You should be thanking PC gamers for supporting CD Project RED throughout the years and not berating them at every turn.

I have at least 1 good reason not to pre-order it. Pre-orders are a scam. They're a method of tricking people into buying a game before they can tell if it's good or not. In this case it's a relatively safe bet since this game has technically been out for over a year already (thanks for the MASSIVE delay again Rockstar!) but I bet even with 2 delays, it will STILL have bugs day one.

The only reason I preorder PC games is because I get all of them at £25 or less.

I wont pay any more than £25 no matter what the publishers want to charge which atm is ridiculous (£50/$75 in UK).

GTA, GTA, GTA, that's all we hear. Yes, technically a great (even amazing) game. Playing however is a different matter. I tell you, while I do occasionally get lost in the splendour of it all, structurally it's near enough a relic. For me the entire series needs a bold rethink, hardly likely to happen while the chavs of this world continue to buy it in the millions.
