Bryan Dawson (Prima Games): One of the best features of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is the fact that it will come bundled with the third iteration of Metal Gear Online for no additional fee. While this may sound par for the course to have a game come with an online mode, Metal Gear Online is considered far more than your typical online mode. In addition to the expansion single player aspects of The Phantom Pain, it would not be out of the question for Konami to charge another $40 or even full price for Metal Gear Online. Of course we're glad the company isn't going that route.

The Metal Gear series has sold 60.2 million copies, as of September 2023.
...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is another rollercoaster of a game in the Metal Gear Solid series. Here's what to expect and why you need to experience it.
Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.
The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.
Lame. This guy is simply narrating what we already saw in trailer. Nobody knows anything about the game and the whole trailer was too scripted to make any indications about how it will actually play. It's nothing like mgo2 though if we're to go by the trailer and the limited amount of moves/abilities Snake had in GZ (hopefully characters in MGO3 have more abilities; like the backstep move, etc)
So I guess that the rumor that this might be released end of February is probably false :(
