Does KOS-MOS appear in Project Treasure?

While there's nothing official at this time, it certainly does seem like one of the characters teased in the Project Treasure image could be KOS-MOS.

Nope, it is, not doubt it. So the game may be a crossover from different Bandai Namco franchises.

The Wii U seems to be building up quite a collection of niche games.
I love it!

I wonder what PT is going to be like...
Brawler? I hope so!

I would be all over this HD trilogy like a fat guy on a doughnut.

metalhead571d ago

I’d be on it like a cop chasing a Black man driving a large powdered doughnut.

FinalFantasyFanatic571d ago

Yes please, I know they said it was unlikely to happen, but I never got to play these games, so a collection would be greatly welcomed.

gold_drake570d ago (Edited 570d ago )

CrimsonWing69571d ago

How Square's Most Iconic JRPG Evolved Into Nintendo's Xenoblade Chronicles

From a pitch for Final Fantasy VII to Nintendo's role-playing juggernaut, here's how the Xeno series became Xenoblade Chronicles.

Vx_826d ago

not even close to the original Xenogears, this was a masterpiece in the story, characters, and adventures just like many PS1 JRPGs... something which is missing in almost all new JRPGs.

Zeldafan64825d ago (Edited 825d ago )

Keep being salty that Xenoblade's a Nintendo exclusive.

Vx_825d ago

the only salty is the like of you, and mostly your just a kid who missed the golden are of the JRPGs in the 90s...which is ok :) it just wasn't your time...btw I have the switch and both Xenoblade games...not bad but nothing compared to Xenogears.

RPGer825d ago

Zelda boy. This has nothing to do with exclusives and this generation BS. This is about a game being a masterpiece and no one cares if it is Sony, Nintendo or Sega. It is all about the quality of the content and fun factor. Back then I own the game because I love it, not because it is tated 10/10 in reviews current BS streamers recommendation. Xenogears was and still a masterpiece beginning with the cover, the disc, the manual, the art, the settings, the soundtrack and characater design. No one literally care about it state of availability to other console. A thing that current gen of gamers can't stop being obsessed about.

Zeldafan64825d ago

I've been playing rpgs since the early 90s. You certainly seem to be projecting.

Nintentional825d ago (Edited 825d ago )

Try out Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. It’s one of the few modern JRPG’s that make you feel like you’re playing an S tier, top shelf, classic PS1 JRPG again. The characters are so memorable and likeable, the environments and world are so original and imaginative, and the music is god tier. The composers are Yasunori Mitsuda and Yoko Shinomura. Xenoblade 2 was ok, but 1 was better and more cohesive. 3 is looking solid though, more in line with XC1.

Zeldafan64825d ago

I'd say the soundtrack of 2 every bit rivals that of 1. My main problem with 2 comes with the design of most of the female blades.

ecchiless825d ago

indeed, xenogears is a great game, xenosaga and xenoblade cant compare to xenogear, dont mind the nintendo fanboys.
Best killer of "Gods".

For me squaresoft games were better on the ps/ps2 era, my personal fav from them on PS(1):
Vagrant Story(still waiting for a remake/continuation), Xenogears, Chrono cross, Parasite Eve, FF8...

Xenosaga Trilogy HD Collection Shot Down by Namco’s Harada

Bandai Namco’s Katshurio Harada shoots down the possibility of an Xenosaga Trilogy HD collection.

1610d ago
Shiken1610d ago

Guess they don't like money. 🤷‍♂️

addictedtochaos1610d ago

It failed at the profitability analysis. They think it wouldn’t make money.

I would buy it on every system it came out on.

Tross1610d ago

They clearly didn’t survey gamers when they did that analysis.

loxim1610d ago

Wow, what a fucking dumb move on their part. Amazing trilogy on ps2.

stuna11610d ago

Exactly! I still have the trilogy for my ps2, i just don't have a ps2 lol.

SegaSaturn6691610d ago

If you mod your ps3/ps4, you can play the series on there.

loxim1607d ago

Same here, I initially traded them in as a dumb kid in my youth all those years ago. I later bought all three copies again and have them in my collection of must haves for PS2 including the Onimusha games and Kingdom Hearts.

Razmiran1610d ago

Harada is not the one who shot it down, he just answered the question of it being a possibility

ninja2ri1610d ago

No kidding. Ask those Shenmue goofs hows the 3rd game is selling? Hell, ask them about the collection. The Xenosaga series is overrated. People complain that MGS is all video but, no gameplay. But this game takes the cake in that approach. You only play the game for 2 hours. The rest is all cutscene

Loktai1610d ago (Edited 1610d ago )

The down votes probably didn't complete all 3 games. I did and there are some sloowwww parts. The games are fantastic but i think you're right ... only the subset of fanatics like those on n4g would pick it up. People claimed they wanted a new star ocean game and probably forget we even got one on ps4... which is much easier to play than a game like xenosaga but sold pretty mediocre . Just as an example of market forces.
