GAF is saying the difference between PS4 and XBO is around 100K for the NPD (give or take). Really close numbers for December.

think they've revised it up to 200k based on a person who's generally on the ball with it. it's all guessing games until the proper guys show up with the numbers but still 100-200k diff isn't bad for either consoles. total sales around 2.3 mil between em which is pretty class for the consoles

CBoat strikes again! The difference was only 2,000!!!! Lol. In November VGChartz got the headline numbers wrong but got the gap 100% right. This month they said the gap was 250,000. 1.3 million Xone and 1.0 million PS4. Which also ties to the headline numbers of 2.3 million Xones + PS4s.

They didn't win November. They won in 2 Regions but overall Sony took worldwide for November. Google it.

Wow the industry is thriving. For bot the XB1 and the PS4! Just bring on the quality games. I will never preorder again due to many games launching with bugs. I was affected by Driveclub and Halo MCC's rockystart. Hopefully the industry does something about this.

Funny you mention that, I have one of those (not 120fps at 4k) that I mainly use for Racind, RTS, MMOs and Elite Dangerous :)

The industry growth is 75% more than last gen at this time!? That is fantastic and reminds me of the mobile market a few years back.

Seems like we've been waiting on the mobile market to drop like music and movies but it hasn't happened, I wonder if gaming is going to be on the uptick for another decade?

What would it take for next year to have numbers to nose dive? It seems impossible with millions of customers waiting to buy.
