wow so a $1000 to play cod. Its really cool and would get people up off the couch, but I think I would rather not have that bulky thing in my living room.

neocores3421d ago

Well for 1 its not 1000$. Its 500$ then 560 with shipping and taxes. Dont comment with BS.

MCTJim3421d ago

BS? I added the cost of OCR and the system... 500 for the circle and 350 for Occulus and then add 60 bucks for the game. Got a PC rig to handle it? Add more money then. And since you added shipping, 500 for shipping...so..we are now over 1000 for playing CoD.

Nice try Mr. Angry. He said $1000 to play it. So he would be correct.

DanteVFenris6663419d ago

Yes it is 1000... But it's not just cod. I've seen skyrim played on this thing too. And also this is clearly not intended for you if you done get it. You could "walk" 10 km in skyrim and it would actually equate to 10km of cardiovascular workout. The implications for health benefits are well worth the initial cost in my opinion. Will I buy it? Probably not unless it release for ps4 and in stores. This method would be not only immersive but make working out be actually really fun and entertaining.

Once they get the graphics up and this tech. gets into the $800-$1k range, it's over. I am happy that Sony is getting the jump on VR gaming. it's going to be insane.

That is a shame. AW is my favourite CoD. I hope they do a sequel one day.

LordoftheCritics410d ago

Thoroughly enjoyed AW.

Good campaign and everything.

LOGICWINS410d ago

Same. Fantastic campaign, but I wasn't crazy about the jetpacks in multiplayer.

RaidenBlack410d ago

I still prefer CoD based on historical settings or in near future settings(like CoD: Ghost) ... even though I liked infinite Warfare's campaign ... it was top notch

CobraKai410d ago

I felt it was a good time to revisit WW2

porkChop410d ago

I actually really enjoyed WWII. I never understood the hate it got.

JEECE410d ago

A lot of people who never played a shooter prior to like 2012 get really mad about anything that isn't a modern combat game.
