Resident Evil HD file sizes detailed for PS4, Xbox One and PS3

There is a disk version in Japan but once again Capcom didn't do that for us. They also had disk versions for Okami HD and Resident Evil Code Veronica and 4 HD that we didn't get.

From everything I've seen, there's not a disc version in Japan for PS4. It's a download just like ours, but the difference is it includes the game's soundtrack on CD.

The asian disc version support english subtitle and audio. So, while not ideal, there's an option.

Isn't RE2 being remade too? Maybe that's just a rumor, not sure. But, RE1, RE2, and Revelatons 2 all on 1 disc would be ideal.

Your gonna love it. This is a must have for almost any gamer. Younger gamers might find it awkward with fixed camera angles but once they learn that it adds to the suspense they should grow to appreciate it.

You are gonna want to get this game if you have played the older version this one just adds on more without ruining it and staying as close to the classic as possible. If you are new, this is the definition of the type of classic survival horror game we need in the genre. Then if you want something a little new with a bit more action but still has that survival horror feel. The Evil Within is a fantastic game to try out.

I grew up on the original Resident evil as my first ever survival horror game and it has had me hooked on the genre since.

i still have the gamecube version and my gamecube but i havent played it in years so i forgot all the puzzles which is okay because i feel like im going into this game for the first time or 3rd time if i count resident evil for the ps1 which i still own to this day too

Also do love the game and the gc version doesn't look too great on a hdtv.

indeed they said if this do well more would be coming, zero is already coming, i am sure, because remake already did well on sales in japan and asia, but when resident evil 2 and 3 comes, i dont know what capcom will do, with those low resolution games,simply putting them in hd, it wouldnt work, they are to low resolution, they need to replace, the low poligon characters, with new ones, and redo all the backgrounds, or make them, like this, but they will loook far worst.

I would love Resident Evil games to return to this structure. RE 1,2,3,CV,0 are better overall than RE4,5,6 imo.

I was hoping for a disk ver at least for the PS4/XB1. Personally I want a disk as I already got burned with the metal gear demo on ps4 , I love it but couldn't play it when psn was down and I feel it will be the same with crapcom money hungry schemes,sure it's nice to have the cross buy I want to play the game even if my internet goes down.i want a disk to play when I want how and I want no strings attached that is one of the reasons why I didn't got a xb1 at launch.i love the RE trilogy and I was looking up to this game but as it is I feel that I should wait for the trilogy in a disk 😢 😫💦

I just bought a 2TB Seagate USB 3.0 for Xbone. Worth it. 80 bucks. Games load faster off of it too. Just FYI when your 500 gigs run out soon. ;)

why is this game so big? The GC version was like a 1GB big but now just because of better resolution it's 14GB? This is why I don't like the digital only future. Downloading that will take me a few days or maybe more if I want to use the internet to play some games online.

because the background are escaled in more resolutions and there is a lots of objects in the background that are now in real 3d , because some of them broke when the images where resized so for example in the room in the mansion where is a mirror round on the wall and a bird cage those elements now are in high definition poligon modeled and pasted on above the low resolution version below plus characters now have slighty more poligons and there is a new lighting system that work more realistic than before besides the color palette of the game has been corrected and looks more vivid now and realistic.

for the people crying about no getting a physical copy there is two physical copies in this moment , the japanize like somebody said up and the asian version, i know the asian version is the better one and have audio in english.
