IGN Xbox's Most Anticipated Games of E3 2008

IGN: "Like Christmas and tax season, the Electronic Entertainment Expo only comes once a year. With it comes excitement, disappointment and the odd overnight stay in the L.A. County Jail. But mostly it's about games, and there will be plenty to see at this year's event. As the premier annual showcase for upcoming titles, E3 brings together most major developers and publishers, who show off their wares to jaded journalists on the lookout for the Next Big Thing.

There's a lot we're looking to forward to seeing at E3 this year, but priorities are priorities, and we've narrowed our vast list of anticipated titles down to this elite collection of 10. These are the games we are absolutely positive are going to be at the show and that we're dying to see most. There will undoubtedly be some surprises at the show, but these 10 are the cream of the confirmed crop."

Halo 4 would demolish the entire lineup of all consoles..

That includes Alan Wake, Halo Wars, and Banjo

Panthers5788d ago

It would be a big announcement, but I dont think anyone would be super excited. Maybe its just me.

Im really interested in how Banjo will turn out, hopefully it will be as good as previous itterations

Now this is why IGN is the best or at least, among the best sites. Even with presense of Fable 2 and Gears of War 2, they KNOW that Fallout 3 is THE game to look forward to.
Fallout 3, number ONE on the 360 list AS WELL as the PC list. This game is gonna PWN! (Diablo 3 effect is gone now)

r2kcipher5788d ago (Edited 5788d ago )

yep cant wait for fallout 3. if its anything like oblivion than i will love it. never played any fallout games but the story sounds good. and i still play oblivion which is kinda sad btw.

MK_Red5788d ago

It's kinda funny. We're both anticipating Fallout 3 but if it is anything like Oblivion, I'd actually lose interest so for me, it is a must if only it is less like Oblivion!

It was a mile wide and a half inch deep. That can only carry a game so far. From what I hear Bethesda has made a much more compact, rich world with Fallout 3. I'm cautiously optimistic. If they can approach Bioshock's quality I'll be happy.

And here's hoping for an isometric Fallout 4.

r2kcipher5788d ago

i just love the open world in oblivion i think they got it right. and how u can level up in every ability.

E3 2008 is going to be great for all consoles. For xbox there is Alan Wake, Banjo, GeoW2, Fable 2 and a lot more. I really want to see some more GeoW2 vids and same goes with Alan Wake, those two games look kick-ass.
