I will believe it when i see it.

-Foxtrot3422d ago

Yeah true

But guys remember the next game is Elder Scrolls VI: Argonia because how legit and logical it all seems /s

morganfell3422d ago

Plenty of people working for Zenimax have seen the internals. Fallout 4 is the next big thing on the spit for Bethesda.

RoKStevonidas3422d ago

Personally, I'm good with with either one. To be honest, I'd love to see how Bethesda's next Elder Scrolls competes graphics-wise compared to a pimped-out Skyrim!

BallsEye3422d ago (Edited 3422d ago )

It better have all the cool mechanisms that Oblivion was supposed to have when announced, such as NPC's that learn from books etc. I hate that we lose such features and immersion because some kids whine they wan't 1080p and better graphics. Best example is Skyrim. In terms of AI and simulation it went so much backwards in comparison to like 6 years older Oblivion. Little things like NPC's changing their clothes before going to sleep and simply having a dinner makes world more believable (that's what happened in Oblivion). There were even random fully simulated casual conversations between NPCs. In "better" and newer Skyrim you had everyone sleeping in full heavy armor and NPC's basicly never talked to each other. That all was lost in the name of slightly better graphics. Simulated worlds is what should define next-gen, not 1080p. I had 1080p on PC many years ago, nothing special. It's nice thing to have but not most important.

Paytaa3422d ago

Exactly. Skyrim felt so naked in comparison to Oblivion and Morrowind. For me I can still go back and play games like Morrowind and Fallout 3 because there is a lot to do and everything seems believable even with the dated graphics and animations.

Darn! It´s going to happen again......

e3 2015 <1bX> Exclusivity. :/

"I hear we'll get an announcement in the next few months"

DarkOcelet3422d ago

In terms of DLC yes, i can see that happening but for the game itself haha no way they will leave behind a market of 18 million console sold and double that amount if it came early 2016 especially when the Xone is 10 million only.

thisismyaccount3422d ago

@DarkOcelet

The money they lose from not making it a multiplat (potential Sony/PS4 customer), they will make up for that loss with whatever M$ is willing to pay for that exclusive deal..

It´s a win-win for M$ and EA? or whoever the publisher is... and a loss to all the PS4 and PC? owners, im pretty certain that M$ will be hitting hard at next e3 a la 2nd TombRaider Excl. "partnership"... either its FO4 or more likely a timed "The Division"...

TheXgamerLive3422d ago

As much as I love FallOut I'm a bit concerned its going to be a limited game like Destiny due to cross gen, lowest common denom and all. It'll rock on some fronts and not on others.

In other news, sometime within the next 4 months, your hometown has a 90% chance of having rain. Stay tuned

A Fallout 4 announcement has been 'coming soon' for years.

KnightRobby3422d ago

I have some news...FALLOUT 4 CONFIRMED FOR FALL 2014 RELEASE! That's right, it's been out and you guys didn't even know!

It also takes place in 1858 for reasons.

In all seriousness, it would be nice to hear about Fallout 4 in early 2015!

How nice of them to give us more control over graphical settings as a way to *completely* avoid taking accountability for the broken Xbox settings.

bondsmx1d 14h ago

Well, I still crashed like 5 times last night within two hours. So there’s that.

anast20h ago

I had to stop. The game is not good. I'd rather play Skyrim and that game isn't that good either.

I Think It's About Time We Realize Fallout 4 Wasn't That Bad

Ahmed from eXputer: "2015's Fallout 4 received harsh criticism upon launching, but I think it was unwarranted and the game deserves more praise than it got."

helicoptergirl6d ago

It was totally that bad. I couldn't finish the campaign it was so bland and boring as I recall. Got so sick of it. 1000 stimpaks on hard. It is very rare that I play half a game and then just quit. I usually always finish it. But i was so bored with this game I just stopped and never went back and never regretted it. Just thinking about that game makes me shudder

Furesis6d ago

That's exactly what happened to me too lmao
Fallout 4 is not a fallout game period it's a bethesda game

Vits6d ago

The comparison with Skyrim is mind-boggling. Yes, Skyrim has streamlined many of the systems that Morrowind introduced. However, it did not tamper with the core of the Elder Scrolls franchise; it did not diminish the freedom and sense of exploration that made Bethesda RPGs famous. Fallout 4, on the other hand, did exactly that to the Fallout series. It eliminated what made Fallout such a beloved series to play. There are no consequences for your choices, no reason to explore, and barely any interesting set pieces in the game.

It's not terrible, but it's a painfully mediocre game in a franchise that typically doesn't produce such mediocrity. So that is why people see it as bad, the bar is just much higher.

anast6d ago

They both feel the same because they are, it's just that one has swords and magic and the other has swords and guns.

anast6d ago

I'm replaying it now. It sucks. I'm about 30 hours in and thinking about quitting again. I am so tired of the dialogue I just spam a random button because it doesn't matter. The upgrade just feels like a graphical mod, everything else is not good.

Good-Smurf6d ago (Edited 6d ago )

I couldn't play the game as-is it was insanely boring and grindy and the grind itself are not fun at all.
Mods helped me stomach the game a bit better but after a while I just stopped playing and uninstalled it because the game did nothing after the first few hours to give me any motivation to keep playing it, it just became a mindless looter shooter with obsession in settlement building and defending.
Compared to F3 and FNV, F4 was barely a mediocre game it wasn't bad but it's also very forgettable entry.

MrDead6d ago

It's not that bad after 300+ mods that fix it's issues and make the game fun... but lets not talk about mods right now as they are f****d.
