Just looked this up somewhere else and made a bit more sense. The paid DLC basically allows you to upgrade from the standard edition to the deluxe edition. That's it. There are no missions or characters you are missing. It just gives you access to the deluxe edition mounts, weapons, and soundtrack.

Xof3419d ago

What a waste. The mounts are ugly and pointless and the weapons too weak to ever use.

anticlimax3419d ago

Well I would've been a bit pissed if there had been major dlc already. You can't have spent that much time on something major (not with the patching sucking up so much time).

Sounds like a fair deal to me

The multi-player isn't bad, but the frequent freezes, glitches, and other crap sucks. Plus you can't play the single player, because it also freezes upon loading.

RobAlmighty3420d ago

Trolling? I havent experienced any glitches or freezing. It also has been highly reviewed and game of the year...

Maybe you are playing something different.

Eiyuuou3420d ago

Last gen version? Who knows.

Dinkis3420d ago (Edited 3420d ago )

On the single player side I haven't had any problems but just last night my party couldn't get through a locked door cause of mob would die but still be taking damage even tho we killed it. This happened 2 times. As far as freezing never happened. On X1

Gamer19823420d ago (Edited 3420d ago )

Only problem I had on single player was talking to people like 75% of the way through story the chat options never appeared and I was unable to continue.. That has since been patched.. But this game wasn't made by ubisoft.. I think somebody trying to justify his assasins creed purchase by slating the GOTY..

Oh and multiplayer is completely broken if you want to party with friends as they get caught in a connection loop. But the multiplayer is terrible anyway as its just like an ipad game full of IAP and the single players the reason you buy this game.

anticlimax3419d ago (Edited 3419d ago )

He isn't trolling, there have been issues a plenty. The game works flawlessly for about 95% of people and works worse than AC Unity for the remaining 5%.

Just check the EA answer fora for Inquisition if you need proof. Black screens, freezing, crashing, Bosses being unkillable, Quests not appearing, etc.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Retro Review – A Nostalgic Leap Short Of Legendary

Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.

The quality of these free games has been awesome. Before anyone says they are not free I was already giving Amazon $6 a month for prime shipping and video this isn't why I pay for my subscription

Teflon02912d ago

Still technically paying for it, even if it wasn't your intent. They've been giving out games with Twitch prime, they just changed the name. It's the same sub as that was. If you weren't aware, great. But you're paying for it.

That being said, I don't personally care. For me as long as you're willing to pay that for 1 service and get more. I personally take it as free. Like prime video, music though the prime version is trash, and all the Twitch benefits are all free to me because I didn't care about those when I got it. Just comes with it.

Only noted because that's technically wrong as a defense to that argument, whether I'm on yourside with the initial statement lol

mkis007912d ago

It's free to anyone who has already been paying. IDK why people need to split hairs.

TinkerNation912d ago

How does Prime Gaming work? Do you keep the games, or is it only as long as you have Prime?

Germaximus912d ago

lol Nice distraction from how they're now charging people to increase viewership. It's "just an option." /wink lol
