(CriticalIndieGamer) Dear God, we’ve met our maker, and it’s The Deer God! That’s what happened to our pixelated hillbilly hunter, anyway. He has been found guilty, by said deer deity, of killing countless animals and has been punished accordingly. For his crimes he has been born anew as that which he once hunted, and will have to redeem himself if he is to become human again.
The Deer God, the breathtaking 3D pixel art adventure from Crescent Moon Games and Blowfish Studios, will find new life on store shelves this February with a physical release of the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions from distributor Red Art Games.
VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "As time went on it became clear that many of these projects were hobbyist titles and a large amount of the developers had never actually researched the practicalities of launching a game on Vita, leading to an ever-increasing number of cancellations over the years. And yet some delivered. It’s this I’m aiming to examine in this article – how many projects succeeded in reaching the Vita, how many failed, and how many are in limbo, as well as a conclusion on the overall state of Kickstarter (and other crowdfunding sources) on the handheld."

The Deer God tells the story of a hunter who gets killed by a wolf. Upon reaching the afterlife he is greeted by the Deer God and reincarnated and given the opportunity to atone for his crime of being a hunter."
