PSA: Don’t sell all valuables in Dragon Age: Inquisition

The valuables section of your inventory in Dragon Age: Inquisition holds all manner of strange items. From wooden figurines to jewelry and gems, it all gets lumped into the valuables tab. This can then easily be cleared with the “sell all” button when you get to a merchant. However, this is not a good idea – sorry everyone, it’s best to behave like a hoarder.

Good to know... "However, certain reddit users are stating that later quests and requisitions require other items that were previous sold from the valuables tab. "

What can u do if u already sold them? Can u replay the older missions and get the items again?

Christopher3449d ago

Nope.

Here's a hint, if they're red or yellow, keep them.

Blue valuables can be gotten from killing things again.

I unfortunately accidentally sold one of my red items and can't get it back.

To be honest, they should make these sort of items unsellable and not take up inventory slots. I really hate games that require you to keep track of important quest items.

Some platforms are reporting that the buy back option has a long enough memory to get your loot back, but on PS4 I wasn't so lucky.

stragomccloud3449d ago

So glad I read this! I just started moving things to there for sale. Though... I have sold a few items, I read this before I got too far ahead.

its hard not to trying to clear up my inventory. its always filling up so fast.

they needed to give up more space, or dont have us needing to loot so much stuff.

Christopher3449d ago

I don't know why they don't have a storage chest. Beyond my understanding.

Loving the hell out of the game, but, seriously... no chest?

ABeastNamedTariq3449d ago

I've sold a few, but luckily not too many.

BigPappaPump3449d ago

Fortunately, I'm still around at the start of the game. Sold a few items out of habit but I have nothing to worry about. Is anyone cursing nightmare mode like me?

Xavior_Reigns3449d ago

Insane, I start off with Hard or whatever exists in its place first. I leave Nightmare, Legendary, etc for my second run through.

HeavenlySnipes3448d ago

Going through Nightmare as well

Died a lot at the part where you first encounter the main villain. Had to do a lot of running away and reviving

Dragon Age: Inquisition Retro Review – A Nostalgic Leap Short Of Legendary

Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.

The quality of these free games has been awesome. Before anyone says they are not free I was already giving Amazon $6 a month for prime shipping and video this isn't why I pay for my subscription

Teflon02918d ago

Still technically paying for it, even if it wasn't your intent. They've been giving out games with Twitch prime, they just changed the name. It's the same sub as that was. If you weren't aware, great. But you're paying for it.

That being said, I don't personally care. For me as long as you're willing to pay that for 1 service and get more. I personally take it as free. Like prime video, music though the prime version is trash, and all the Twitch benefits are all free to me because I didn't care about those when I got it. Just comes with it.

Only noted because that's technically wrong as a defense to that argument, whether I'm on yourside with the initial statement lol

mkis007918d ago

It's free to anyone who has already been paying. IDK why people need to split hairs.

TinkerNation918d ago

How does Prime Gaming work? Do you keep the games, or is it only as long as you have Prime?

Germaximus918d ago

lol Nice distraction from how they're now charging people to increase viewership. It's "just an option." /wink lol
