Giant Bomb- "The best thing I can say about WWE 2K15 is that it resembles the current state of the WWE’s television product. Not literally, mind you. 2K15 does mark the debut of the WWE series on the current generation of consoles, and that does come with the requisite bump in visual fidelity toward something more lifelike, but those visual upgrades don’t transform this game into a wholly accurate representation of the WWE we see on TV every week."
Some of you may know that the latest instalment in the WWE gaming franchise 2K20 was released late last year to generally poor reviews. Some of this was based on graphical issues, but mostly it was due to the many glitches and bugs found – many of which are hilarious to witness.
Fire Pro needs more love. The last PS4 title gets regular playtime from me.
I hear that there are financial troubles at the studio, but I'm hopeful for a Switch port one of these days.
I have Fire Pro for PS4 and PC but it seems more of like a Sim creator rather than people actually playing out matches. I still dont like anything as much as the N64 games
Yes, the WWE ones at least. The last good one was 2K14 and the last great one was Here Comes the Pain.
James writes - "The good faith of wrestling fans is diminishing rapidly and five years after the mediocrity found in WWE 2K15, it doesn’t seem like 2K have learnt anything. The time for change is now."
Piss on these games, I have more hope of AEW putting out a quality produced game. This product will be better after Vince McMahon is dead, even if his dufus son-in-law takes over.
With so many wrestling video games to dive in and play, find out which ones Screen Critics believes you'd be best avoiding.
WWE was once memorable...now it is just a childish spree of random nonsense.
Wrestling games are dead.
Untrue. Havent read the review but im playing and its all very situations in combat. You put together a wrestling match. No more mashing. Its very fun but some of the models are ugly.
So far ive only heard mark henry yell "Thats whats I do"!
This game needs more voices and yells and grunts from the wrestlers. The announcer are annoying. Yet I can guarantee youll be laughing and having so much fun once you figure out the situational pace.
Basically, keep momentum, get the crowd and watch your stamina.
Combat is very good. Now I read review n see if we relate.
As expected, the review is bogus.
I know what this guy did..
He played maybe 3 hours worth of fiddling around and then went straight to game and wrestling forums for some insight/steal ideas and views. Hes not a fan of wwe unless its about john cena or whoever is the flavor of the month. He then consolidated and wrote the review and got paid for 8 hours of work.
Reviews.. totally useless and meant to form opinions of those who werent gonna play this anyway.
Well i have the last gen version and i haven't noticed the bugs the reviewer is talking about. I finished both showcases and enjoyed them...don't know what he means about not being able to create female wrestlers since i created Beth Phoenix with no problem. It actually has a gender option. (unless they took it out for next gen)...
As far as actual wrestling goes i have yet to encounter any type of mini game to initiate chain moves, in fact i've never done any since there is nothing that triggers me to do any so i'm puzzled as to why he says it happens all the time., ...again, maybe that's one of the differences between the last and next gen versions. As it is, it's still a decent wrestling game, not great but not bad either. 3.5/5 for me.
