From the review, "Since Daigasso! Band Brothers DX was recently released in Japan (on June 26, 2008), I figured it would be a good time to take a look back at the original Daigasso! Band Brothers.
The game is a cross between a music simulator and a music game, where people could play music with the face buttons. Pressing the wrong button, or failing to make a note sharp or flat with the shoulder buttons at higher difficulty levels, will cause the wrong note to be played. The goal is to successfully complete a song while keeping time with the beat and pressing correct buttons."
Chris Buffa (Modojo): A short while ago, Nintendo seemingly closed the door on the possibility of releasing Wii RPGs Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower in the U.S., much to the chagrin of its fans, some of which launched a grassroots effort called Operation Rainfall to get these games published.
I imported Ouendan 1 and 2 , as well as Jump Ultimate - they work fine as the ds is region free.

From the article, "Things are starting to gradually shift. Nintendo took a chance and released Rhythm Heaven in North America. The Legendary Starfy, the fifth game in the series, is going to mark the series' debut outside of Japan. Perhaps this is a good sign that Nintendo is going to be more accepting of new properties in the future.

i wish jump ultimate stars could come to america but that's just one of those treasures that will never come over seas at all :[
Europe is missing quite a lot of these too and there's some games only high profile Club Nintendo people in Japan can get like a Balloon Fight game starring Tingle.
