Dragon Age: Inquisition Review - Gametrailers

GT:
"Dragon Age: Inquisition proves that even the most serious missteps can be corrected. Whereas Dragon Age: Origins was a grand adventure that harkened back to the days of Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale, Dragon Age II seemed like a rushed effort that misinterpreted its predecessor's best parts. Largely taking place in a lone city, Dragon Age II felt constrained and its dungeons were often identical to one another. Inquisition is a fierce response to those criticisms. Not only is the game sprawling to an intimidating degree, the story matches its vast landscapes. There's so much to embroil yourself in as the leader of a valiant army, that it's hard getting bored even after 100 hours of play. Without a doubt, Inquisition is one of the most enthralling role-playing games of the year."

This game is an 8.0 at best. I mean, really. If it wasn't for the gay crap in it it would be no where near as high as 8.8 or higher. But when you get the gay army behind it, coupled with the liberal press, anything is golden. Whateva. Average game at best.

^^This.

Since when is 80% average? If I had 80% in my dissertation I would have graduated with 1st Class honours.

Here's what I don't get. Every review talks about how amazing this game is, how much content there is, how it's one of the best rpgs in last couple yrs, and it gets 8's.

Now I know 8.5 or whatever is a great score, bit c'mon. It's a new game, not a remaster. It tells a great story with amazing characters. It isn't ugly. The combat can be brutal strategically. It has a fun, addictive multiplayer and the campaign is like 90 hrs.

I did the prologue last night and I'm having a blast. Good job Bioware.

I think much of the press are wary of handing out 9s and 10s lately in case they're accused of bias or paid reviewing. Still somewhat unprofessional in some ways, just in more of a headless chicken sort of way; blindly trying to appease someone and be as uncontroversial as possible so as to avoid the constant scrutiny.

I dont mind , each new game and as time passes , they keep proving their obsolescence , BS and lack of usefulness .

There has been so many feeds for the game , even some 1 year old 40 min gameplay leak ... that most game fans already got an inkling about liking the game or not

The first comment is usually the dumbest. This game is fantastic.

Here now, he clearly put a lot of thought into that. Other peoples' thoughts, yes, but he regurgitated some faux political opinion with aplomb, I say.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Retro Review – A Nostalgic Leap Short Of Legendary

Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.

The quality of these free games has been awesome. Before anyone says they are not free I was already giving Amazon $6 a month for prime shipping and video this isn't why I pay for my subscription

Still technically paying for it, even if it wasn't your intent. They've been giving out games with Twitch prime, they just changed the name. It's the same sub as that was. If you weren't aware, great. But you're paying for it.

That being said, I don't personally care. For me as long as you're willing to pay that for 1 service and get more. I personally take it as free. Like prime video, music though the prime version is trash, and all the Twitch benefits are all free to me because I didn't care about those when I got it. Just comes with it.

Only noted because that's technically wrong as a defense to that argument, whether I'm on yourside with the initial statement lol

It's free to anyone who has already been paying. IDK why people need to split hairs.

How does Prime Gaming work? Do you keep the games, or is it only as long as you have Prime?

Germaximus927d ago

lol Nice distraction from how they're now charging people to increase viewership. It's "just an option." /wink lol
