2013 GTA Online Accounts: Issues Transferring to PS4/Xbox One or Logging Into GTA Online

Still unbelievable they dropped MCC from 9/10 to a 6/10 just cause of online problems...

Issues with match making and this are not the same types of problems. According to most reviews the online is perfectly playable there's just some issues with character transfers. Which is far less worse than the MCCs matchmaking issues.

However I do agree that GameSpot shouldn't have lowered the score so much.

Yeah but this is bad too. I don't want to buy a prettier version of what I already beat and maxed out the MP last year. But, if I bought this to pick up where I left off, this is a huge back breaker. I just don't get how all these games are being released with such obvious bugs. It makes you wonder if they even TRIED porting the characters over before launch. Man, I know Destiny has its issues, but at least it worked out of the box. Now, they have been releasing patches that kill their servers for hours, but that's another story for another day lol.

Of course GTA Online isn't working right now. I don't understand why they never stress test this stuff. THE ENTIRE WORLD bought this game again damn near.

I was surprised to see more people at Gamestop for this re release on next gen only than for COD Day One on Sunday Midnight. Then again, there was also Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age Inquisition available to pickup so I guess it makes sense.

I played for a while last night, but I was the only one on a public server, had no problem transfering though.

Same here. Transferred perfectly fine, yet i was alone in a public room. The only problem i encountered was after 2 jobs i took on i was hit with an error message along the lines of "a !server error has occurred. Returning to GTA story mode."

I'm not home from work yet so haven't tried but I am planning to start again.
Someone please confirm whether the online is working for new accounts please??
I'm gonna be so annoyed if it isn't. Lately nothings worked properly at launch - I'm looking at you Halo! Still waiting lol.
I will be playing it on PS4 if that makes any difference.

My friend can't download the newest update so can't play it online.

Got in one session after 2 hours of trying, cant invite friends, cant join anyone then randomly kicked. Another broken game to add to the pile.

I can't even download the 1+GB update to even get a look in! Good thing I never completed PS3 SP,m so I can at least do that ;)

I have a new found respect for Gamespot giving 6/10 for a broken MCC. Driveclub got punished for similar reason, why should Halo remaster package get treated better?

Of course, I don't expect a whole lot of Xbox One/Halo fans to see that logic or agree.
