Assassin’s Creed Rogue review (Lazygamer)

The last generation console’s Assassin’s Creed game hasn’t been getting as much attention as the shiny new one. This a crying shame. With Assassin’s Creed Rogue, Ubisoft has reached the pinnacle of the Assassin’s Creed experience, and might even make you feel better about previous iterations.

So better than the main game....

starchild3489d ago

We'll see. I won't form my opinion until I have played them both. I have Unity already and will get Rogue as soon as it comes out on PC.

moonstormer3489d ago

would have been best to play rogue first, set the scene beautifully. but yeah, will need to play both to form an opinion.

So Rogue is the best AC game of the year? Huh, didn't see that coming.

moonstormer3489d ago

me neither. i thought it would just be more of black flag, but it really takes things to a whole new level.

Is the main guy in Rogue better than Edward Kenway. Looking forward to Rogue next year on PC.

LOL I can't believe this. Rogue has literally gone rogue and proven that Unity is shit! I want this :D

Angeljuice3489d ago (Edited 3489d ago )

Maybe we should petition Ubi to release it for Xbone/PS4.
They could release a direct port of Unity for last-gen consoles in response(it would be an unplayable bug-fest with terrible frame-rate issues....so no change whatsoever).

HairyKnees3489d ago

Haha yeah I hope they bring Rogue to next gen!

Nice review. Is Rogue much fun guys? Thinking of getting it for the 360 and definitely not going near that train wreck aka Unity

moonstormer3489d ago

seriously fun, with some cool characters, too. one of the best games you could get on older console.

Ezz20133489d ago

yep i have both and rogue is far better
Shy is awesome
it's my 2nd best AC after Black flag

Zero Dawn sold really well so I’m not sure this belongs. The second game released next to a big game again and it hurt it some I forget what it was though, oh yeah Elden Ring .
But a good game is a good game to me I don’t care when they release personally but they do have to think about it when you want to get more people to buy it.

Top 4 Open World Games With the Best Enemy AI

From Xfire: "Enemy AI is a difficult subject to tackle in video games. Some may argue that current tech isn't advanced enough to implement ultra realistic AI. However, in a world where your phone's AI can book appointments for you, can't it spot a hooded figure hiding in a 'crowd' of four people? In fact, the AI in 2006's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was so smart that the developer had to 'dumb' it down for the final release."

Full Chronological Order Of All The Assassin's Creed Games

From Xfire: "Blending real-world history with a gripping fantasy story is quite a thrilling concept but with a dozen games released over a period of 13 years, understanding the chronological order of the Assassin’s Creed franchise can be a challenge for anyone. This is further complicated by the fact that Ubisoft decided to leap through the timelines with the release of Assassin’s Creed Origins.

The exact play order of the series can be a heated subject among the core fanbase. Should you play the games in chronological order? Or should you play through the series in order of their release date?"

Cool feature. The anchor point links need to be fixed in the article, but otherwise great stuff. Thank you for posting!
