GamesBeat: "World of Warcraft has a ... problem,” director Duncan Jones said, “in that it’s got so many stories. It’s been going for 10 years, and Warcraft itself has been going for 20 years. Our challenge was to actually drill down and find a story that would work as a single film. There’s so many great characters and so many story arcs.” The story discusses news on the movie, based on the Warcraft PC games, from the BlizzCon convention in Anaheim today.
Blizzard Entertainment has announced the opening of beta registrations for “World of Warcraft: The War Within,” inviting players to explore new subterranean worlds beneath Azeroth.
Danish from eXputer: "Despite Blizzard's attempt to give a fresh new spin to World of Warcraft, some fans still seem to be stuck in the past."
HG writes: "Blizzard is usually pretty bad at keeping secrets, but the company somehow managed to keep this one under wraps until now. Plunderstorm is a special limited-time event that’s basically World of Warcraft’s take on the Battle Royale genre."

I've never played W.O.W, but I'd watch this in a heartbeat. A buddy of mine that played a lot also read the books as well, and turned me onto them. Incredible fantasy books. Especially the story of Arthus.
