Today Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition was released on the Playstation Store (EU) and was shortly pulled from the store there after. Devolver Digital claimed that the release on Duke Nukem 3D today was a mistake and also said that the game still needed a little more work before it will be ready for the public. This release did however allow several PS3/Vita owners to pay and download the game for £7.99. In a message to these earlier adopters Devolver Digital tweeted:
Have you ever looked at a modern first-person shooter and wondered "How did we get here?" Wealth of Geeks performs a deep dive into the genre, including some of the most influential games, from the very first FPS from the cross-genre experiences that changed the game entirely.
Do you need even more action in your Duke Nukem game? Then take a look at these amazing mods, and vastly improve your experience!
Duke Nukem is back, as the classic FPS game Duke Nukem 3D, from the golden, PC shooter era of Doom, Quake, and Half-Life, gets a full overhaul and relaunch
Honestly happy having the Switch port. It's just nice to have Duke 3D on the go. Something I could only ever dream of back in my younger days first playing it lol.
Been waiting for this one for a while now.
I'm surprised these games are still even being made after the fiasco of Forever.
"Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition is hitting the PS3 and Vita on January 13th in North America and a day later on January 14th in Europe."
finaly ill be able to play one of my favorite games of all time on PS3.
I still remember hitting the space bar in front of the dancers in level 2 back in Duke 3D. I was the DN Cashman cheat on so it would just throw money, but there was a different animation that played if you hit space when next to them. Sadly, my Grandpa was right behind me watching when I did it...
