The Unfinished Swan (and Papo and Yo too) are beautiful PS3 exclusive (in terms of console) games that weren't really talked about enough last generation.

They're pretty similar to each other in that you embark on an adventure with deliberately little explanation and you spend much of the game alone chasing something or other.

PS4 owners who haven't played it should get it.

It's a shame that all the PS2 owners didn't buy a PS3 though. It means that Sony can keep on releasing PS3 games on the PS4 and 'get away with it'.

If you bought it for PS3, than you also receive it for PS4 and PSVita.

I don't see a problem with Sony "getting away with it" as owners are already entitled to the port. Most Sony published PSN titles that get rereleases like this support cross-buy (which is nifty and an often overlooked perk of the PSN service versus Xbox Live or Nintendo's service).

I'm just trying to make a wider point which is that PS4 is partly about recovering revenue for Sony after the costs involved in making the PS3 and its games.

The PS4 is not taking as many of the risks that the PS3 did in creating new, costly, franchises.
It's more like a sense of familiar satisfaction- returning to Uncharted and Little Big Planet, playing a slightly Dishonored-like looking game (thematically) in The Order 1886.
This is an evolution generation. It will take a lot to be blown away like Heavy Rain did to me on the PS3.

Agreed. A man is gonna love 1080p 60fps Journey and earning his white robes again with DS4. Replay Journey a fair amount to this day. It's always a unique experience with a new random partner to try to communicate with.

I meant to go to sleep by midnight last night, but got hooked on this game, yet again. It's so much fun! Plus, the unlockable mechanics add so much. I played around with the time stop thing for hours.

a lovely, thoughtful and creative game. i imagine it will pop quite nicely on that Vita OLED as well. much more involved and varied than the than black ink on blank white world stuff that they often show in demos and stuff. a very impressive first game from giant sparrow.
