Valkyria Chronicles possibly coming to PC

PS3 exclusive Valkyria Chronicles is one of the finest strategy RPGs i've played, and now it looks it might be getting a release on PC

You have to, especially if you didn't get to play it before. One of the best strategy RPG's ever created, it's so sad that it wasn't a commercial success which resulted in Sega continuing the series on handhelds. I really hope this is true because it could mean that a new game is in development.

I really loved the art style of Valkyria Chronicles, and the characters were likeable. But to me I just couldn't get to grips with the difficulty leap a bit further on in the game, plus I don't usually play strategy RPG's. There was a particular battle with a tank that I just couldn't get past. Tempted to rebuy it for PS3 and give it another go as I traded it in after dying again and again xD

I have found the upmost love for Strategy RPGs, and sometimes will go back to my PSP to grind on Final Fantasy Tactics!
The game is addicting and the social esque aspect to it is great, I love the story also, I hope PS4 spawns a new game in the series and I hope it will be available outside Japan!

I really hope this happens. While the game was perfect as it was, there maybe room for some nice mods :D

And more importantly, this may mean Sega may shift it's focus back on consoles instead of handheld (delusional)

I'll probably end up buying it again anyway. I already have 2 PS3 copies... Well my first one was "borrowed" by a friend.. Some borrowing she did. And that's how I ended up buying my 2nd copy haha

In retrospect, I don't want to get my hopes high. That PS4 VC HD collection broke my heart, I was wishing it'd be true.

Reminds me, though, of SE deciding to ignore the western Vita and PSP audiences and releasing it on consoles only. Kind of a jerk move.

Nice, I remember in a dev interview they were saying that the game was originally made with the intentions of being a PC exclusive before sony stepped in.

Awesome. Glad to see more jrpg coming to pc. Hopefully it gonna be a decent port. Not the stupid 720p/30fps garbage that is XIII before fixes.
