Consoleme.ca writes: A while back I posted an article about the upcoming PS3 exclusive game White Knight Chronicles. To my surprise, many PS3 gamers had no idea it was even under development, much less coming sometime soon. And now, another under the radar PS3 exclusive is about to get PS3 owners excited again: Valkyria Chronicles (VC) or if you prefer the full name, Valkyrie of the Battlefield: Gallian Chronicles. Developed by Sega and already released in Japan, VC is a tactical RPG that features a unique turn-based battle system called BLiTZ (Battle of Live Tactical Zones). Essentially, each turn you will begin with a "command view" of the battlefield. Players may then select individual units to issue commands in an "action mode". This mode functions in real time and you can even aim your weapons to take headshots, bodyshots etc. It is an interesting blend of strategy and rpg elements when you see the game in action.
SEGA / Atlus Holiday 2023 Switch eShop sale live featuring lowest prices ever for Valkyria Chronicles, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and more.
From the kingdom building in Ni no Kuni 2 to defeating shadows in Persona 4 Golden, here are the best JRPGs on PC.
While the Valkyria Chronicles franchise has been somewhat dormant for four years, it certainly hasn't been forgotten.
Sega is great for relegating its characters to cameos in other games. Heaven forbid they announced Valkyria Chronicles 5 or remaster VC 2 & 3.
Yes. I have been waiting for quite some time on this game.
Also, you get to use Aika and Vyse from Skies of Arcadia as playable characters too. Too bad that this game has gone with relatively little advertisement or hype outside of Japan.
saying 360 is the king of RPG's?? LOL!! i say king of last gen RPG's!!! it has the left overs of ps2 RPG's LOL!!

This game looks great. Disgaea 3 and Valkyria Chronicles are my most wanted PS3 games this fall. The battle system looks interesting.
but if the PS3 has a exclusive RPG that gets crazy good reviews i might give it a shot
I was thinking White Knights might be my first RPG buy over the last 4-5 years.
Its really not my thing but if it kicks a$$ i might try one. I will never buy a RPG day one....thats just me
