Talking magical music DS game Zubo with Bright Light Studio

Pocket Gamer has played it, and can confirm that the UK's Bright Light Studio developed and EA published DS game Zubo is shaping up to be one of the quirkiest and inventive kids' games the handheld has seen.

It's got rhythm-based combat, loads of cute collectable Zubos and fart-centric special moves – what more could any child ask for in a game?

So Pocket Gamer had a chat with Zubo producer Michael Heywood (pictured) about the game and to find out what's next after its release this autumn.

RPGfan : Zubo Review

John Tucker writes "In any genre of games, there are some entries that appeal to the masses, some that only hardcore fans have the background to enjoy, and some that are intended to bring in new fans. Many times, these last efforts are geared at younger players, and that makes sense. Zubo is clearly one of these "gateway" games, intended to bring younger players into the fold of RPG fans, and I was actually surprised to see it come out of EA."
