See What Halo 3 Looks Like at 1080p/60fps in Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Halo 3 has been, perhaps, the part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection that fans have been most curious about, because it's not as shiny-new as Halo 4 (look for 1080p/60fps footage of that later this week), and it's not getting the Anniversary treatment that Halo 1 and Halo 2 are. So what does Halo 3 look like on the latest Xbox console? Take a look at the video above and see for yourself!

Saw this vid a while ago,its plays so smooth and the lighting actually looks a lot better, i can only imagine how good Halo4 will be.

Also the great thing about this collection is that on Nov 11th Halo fans on xbox one will be streaming all sorts of videos. There will be campaign streams from Halo 1 to 4 there'll also be multiplayer streams from over 100 multiplayer maps.

The content in this collection is huge and when gamers need to chill out after playing all day there will be halo nightfall to fall back on. Nice

YES YES and YES. I don't know how big the impact will be but im almost 100% certain that its going to sell even more xbox ones than Titanfall did.

It will certainly help sales, maybe more than any other X1 game this year. It just looks so dated, these games haven't aged well.

Well I wouldn't get the X1 for Halo 5 because I haven't played any of the Halo games before. Now that the MCC is coming to X1 it gives me the option to catch up on the main games in the series so Halo 5 becomes a factor in the decision wether or not I should get an X1.

These games have dated very well. Whats funny is, the likes of Halo 2 still stand head and shoulders above the deluge of wannabe Halo-killers that have tried and failed to dethrone these games.

Halo CE has a remastered version that looks great. Halo 2 anniversary is 2 gens old and loks great. Halo 3 is the weakest of the bunch. Halo 4 could pass off as a nezt gen game in some areas.

No they said H2A isn't 1080p because it runs two engines at the same time. Everything else is 1080p.

That was Halo2 campaign. Halo 1, 3 and 4 campaigns is 1080p and Halo 1,2,3 and 4 mp is 1080p but the whole package(campaign and mp) will be 60fps.

Yeah, plenty to choose from, KI is a old school helluva fighter a few buds over to play with and its some insanely crazy shiii talking, Titanfall is a nice team player shooter, Ryse didnt score well but I really enjoyed the hack n slash gameplay with superb visuals, Dead Rising 3, Diablo 3 and Shadow of Mordor are all solid picks. If you like racing games even a little bit then by far the game I've enjoyed most so far this gen is Forza Horizon 2, its simply awesome, especially with a wheel. Soon of course this MCC will be out, its a no brainer for $60 but don't sleep on SSO it looks very entertaining, also although COD has plenty of critics and Ghosts was dissapointing to me I'm getting COD AW too, since I like what I've seen so far.

Ryse is underrated in my opinion. I'm playing the PC version now and it's way better than I expected. Not only is it gorgeous to look at, but the narrative is good and the gameplay is actually fun.

I got completely the wrong impression from listening to some people hate on the game. The combat is similar to games like Shadow of Mordor or Batman Arkham City, only not as deep. But it's still enjoyable and definitely has more depth than I was expecting. Also, the finishing moves are optional (in order to give you more XP, health, focus, etc), but they look cool and I see nothing wrong with those kinds of timed button presses.

It really is a FANTASTIC media hub. I seriously can't believe it. We don't even have cable but the Xbox has tons of entertainment apps like MTV where we can login with a family members direct TV act and my wife can still watch her Snooki show. She's loving it. I really do love it more than I thought I would. I'm just a little sad I didn't get kinect. I feel like I'm missing alot. I won't spend $150 on one mau be 99 though. I just feel I would enjoy it so much more with kinect. I can now see where Microsoft was going with it. They have done well and people will eventually see the big picture.

I immediately fell in love with it after monthes of talking myself into buying it. Can't WAIT for sunset overdrive. Also cod not really my thing. Imma bf player.

Killer app! It should be illegal that the game is only $60 with all the goodies..I felt like I'd robbed a store for getting it at that price. Halo 3 looks glorious in 1080p and run smooth as butter at 60fps.

This guarantees that I will get an Xbox one at some point because as a package it's just too tempting. The 60 frames makes for a more real sense of being in the scene which is quite striking actually and looks very much worth experiencing for just that

I'd happily buy X1 for all this alone but then there's Halo 5 onwards to look forward to so it's a no brainer

The multiplayer is plain nuts when you consider what 343 is offering here. Nice to be able to play Halo2 multi again that's for sure

This should do very well for MS especially as the only other multi player people generally care about in especially big numbers is of course cod and Gears

This game will truly spur some the Xbox 360 fan base to jump to the Xbox One. Those players that followed Master Chief through Halo 3 and 4 will feel compelled to make the leap.

The question is: How much of a movement will it spur?
