One of the best? It's still the best RPG of the year. Worth $60, a steal at $20.

Totally! This game was such a nice treat and so true to its source material, what with all the crazy humor elements and all. :)

I just wish it'd been a few hours longer... Finishing an RPG in just under 12 hours feels short-lived. Loved the game so much, I really wanted it to continue.

MRMagoo1233496d ago

Yeh I feel it made ff13 feel a bit bad about itself when a south park game teaches it what an rpg should be.

Awesome, been waiting for this game to drop in price.

$20 is cool with me.

ahhhh just realized it was only for PS3/Xbox 360.

This game needs to be on my PS4...like now. I loved this on 360.

kevnb3496d ago

i dont think the game will be much different on ps4, it already looks exactly like the show.

isa_scout3496d ago

Agreed....It looked crappy(in a awesome way)...lol
Honestly, I just want to play it again. I rushed through it pretty fast as I was gearing up for next/new-gen and would love to play it again and take my time.

It's only now dropping to 20 on amazon? I picked it up at target a few months ago for 20 regular price. Game is decent but nothing spectacular and I'm a huge south park fan.

BattleTorn3496d ago

Wow, I'm only an extrememly moderate fan of South Park. I thought the game was amazing and played perfectly along with all the show characters.

Summons753496d ago

Oh no doubt it is one of the best South Park games and did a really great job at having the game feel like the show. But the gameplay was couldn't decide if it was turn based rpg or a P&C adventure game and the story wasn't that great. It's fun but nothing I could imagine paying more than 20/30 bucks for.

We are going to see a lot of crap South Park products since they sold out to paramount years ago. It's their IP they can sell out, of course; it just means the quality of their show has tanked and other products as well. Nevertheless, they put on excellent musicals, but those haven't been sold to a mega corporation.

They said awhile ago that Ubisoft holds contract rights to the main flagship South Park games. So like stick, fractured and phone destroyer.

Snow Day was handled by THQ and Question and is a random spinoff. Hopefully Ubisoft is cooking something.

anast45d ago

That's one reason to be hopeful, but Ubi is trending down too.

Loved the RPGs but never played the others. Have to track them down. Still not sure about Snow Day though.

The 7 Best South Park Games

The South Park series has somehow managed to stay relevant for over 25 years, but which are the best games based on the TV show?

cammers1995152d ago (Edited 152d ago )

The only two worth playing are Stick of truth and fractured but whole. The rest were garbage except snow day which I can't say anything about yet. But with that said, unlike stick and fractured which debuted as AAA full priced titles by ubisoft, snow day is a new developer and publisher and has a budget price at only $30 soooo

I see Deadpool made the list. Also saw it in stock at the local game store. Second hand. Might finally pick up a copy.
