Darren: "This certainly won't be the first time ASUS has shipped an in-demand item elsewhere in the world while USers ponder the thought of importing, but apparently the outfit's potent G70 is now on sale in the UK. For those who missed it, this monstrosity features a 17-inch WUXGA / WXGA+ panel, an optional Core 2 Extreme processor, twin GeForce 8700M GT graphics cards, 1GB of RAM, an optional Blu-ray writer, gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth / WiFi and oodles of LED accents. Word on the street has it going for around £1,999 ($3,948) well equipped, but those blokes across the pond aren't too worried about a US release date."
Fortnite fans are begging for the return of OG mode while using the player count as proof that fans are not happy with the game's direction.
It's been revealed that Helldivers 2 is Sony's fastest-selling game ever, beating the record previously set by god of War: Ragnarok.
It's not a first-party game though. Is it really too much to expect these low-rate websites to have the bare minimum of knowledge about the topic that they write about?
This reminds me of the hoops that some diehard Nintendo fans would go through to claim a game (like Bayonetta 2) is first-party just to say Nintendo is pumping out games.
The studio behind the popular Thief Simulator 2 has announced its next project, Crime Simulator, for PC and consoles.
America ponders as they say because for gaming you can get a notebook for the same price that runs the G70 into the ground - the Gateway P-FX70.

The only big missing feature on the P-FX70 is no Bluray but do you really need to travel with a bunch of Bluray movies? And if you are at home you should have a PS3.
LOL@Asus
Core2Extreme: Nice
SLI GeForce 8700M GT: Nice, could have used SLI 88M's, but let's not be picky at that price
Blu-ray drive: Nice
WLAN, BT&stuff: Nice
1GB RAM: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAH
Whoever designed this thing with only 1GB RAM, deserves to be fired. What good are a fast CPU and TWO high-end GPUs, when you can't play sh't, thanks to the wimpy RAM? Worst combination of parts I've seen in a laptop in a long time.
My dad got a new laptop yesterday for £500 and it's more or less the same spec but with HD-DVD! They're going cheap now that the formats dead. Worth buy just for the specs of it though.
haha - nice spotting, I guess on the bright side it's *the* easiest component to upgrade. Still, for the price you'd kinda expect better.
